Hotel and room was great
Breakfast was bad,egg was so hard must have been deep fried and on the second day I returned my breakfast as not had a long hair in it,also egg was horrible again,so I would stay again but not with breakfast included that is if you do room only.
Location was excellent
The room we stayed in was very small and was overlooking the back of hotel. No view and it was too hot although they supplied a fan. Didn’t like the electric shower either too hot or too cold and it was difficult to open the shower door. At one point I couldn’t get out. Very small bathroom. I think the price of room 18
wasn’t value for money. The breakfast was nice.

I arrived on a motorcycle. With the walled car park and all large fenced off smoking area, ample space to park a motorcycle totally hidden from the road.

The room was clean
The continental breakfast offering was really poor. I didn't want a hot breakfast but there were limited cereal offers, the fresh fruit was just water melon that tasted strange. There was also no pastries. Not great for what you pay. Just basic toast and marmite or jam. I only had breakfast there 1 o f the 3 nights as a result.
Location is fab
While it’s very clear the decor lacks any character or style shame as a beautiful building from the outside and would have been prime in its day.
The hotel is centrally located and my stay represented good value for money. I was in Great Malvern for one evening to go to the theatre. The staff were friendly and welcoming and keen to please. One or two features in the room in terms of decor and equipment were dated. This did not detract from my stay but these aspects were noticeable. I would happily stay at the hotel again.

Reception, Room, and Breakfast, and location at the top of the town, were all that could have been hoped for and expected.
The only niggle was that in the morning the water in the en-suite shower-room was no more than lukewarm, even after running the tap for a god while; alright with the heat-wave weather but would be less good with more average temperatures.
