Terrible experience. Pleasant but not particularly helpful staff. We were delayed in Denver overnight by Southwest (shocker). It’s already late. Southwest provided a voucher to stay at this Aloft. Being a long time Marriott member, I agreed to the accommodations. It’s a 17 minute commute from the airport (without traffic). The shuttle runs on the half hour. The shuttle is shared with many hotels in the gateway park so expect a crowd and potentially an hour or more wait on the sidewalk before you get a shuttle. Upon arriving, the desk assigned a room with one king bed (for three people). I went back downstairs and got a new room. New room clearly had not been used for a while. Dusty and hot. Got the temperature cooled down to 70° and the AC kicks off. AC doesn’t kick back on until the room reaches 75°. Then at 2:30am the smoke alarm starts beeping every 60-90 seconds. But stops beeping if the AC is running. I return to the desk. The desk wants to give me 15 minutes to pack up the room at now 3:00am and tell me “I can’t give you two rooms”. All I asked for was to be able to leave our things in the room. The desk is arguing with me and telling me this is not a possibility and that we have now ten minutes to vacate the room. Then some more guests arrive. Desk demeanor completely changes and she decides we can have til 6am. We relocate to new room. This room’s thermostat is stuck. I go back to the second room for a few things and the key won’t work. Never staying at Aloft again. This is not a Marriott.
Clean and convenient
No water bottles in the room but it was offered at front desk which was nice
We didn't like the loud hot and cold ac. Also the bathroom door and layout of the area. At the time I booked I was unaware that I would have to pay for parking.
We booked this hotel because our son had an early flight to Tokyo. While the hotel seems well maintained their television feed did not work well, phone in the room not functioning and the AC either too cold or too warm. I found amazing that the staff main concern was the time we would check. Note that the parking at the front of the property is not free we had to pay
Clean
Got a ticket for parking as a guest. Tired of poor service in the Us.
I stay at the Aloft Denver Airport at Gateway Park about once a month, and it’s become my go-to near DEN because it’s reliably a great value with an awesome team.
First, the airport logistics are easy: there’s a shuttle to/from Denver International Airport that runs every half hour, which makes arrivals and early departures painless. For Marriott Bonvoy elites, the perks are solid too — there are free snacks for Ambassador members, and the complimentary breakfast benefit is genuinely worthwhile (not the sad “grab a banana and go” version you sometimes see).
The hotel itself isn’t brand new, and it doesn’t feel like it’s had a major renovation in quite a while, but honestly it has held up really well. Rooms are comfortable and functional, the beds are consistently comfy, and I appreciate the practical touches — many rooms have microwaves, and all have mini fridges, which is a big plus if you’re staying more than a night.
What really makes this place stand out, though, is the staff. Every stay is smooth, friendly, and welcoming, and the team regularly goes out of their way to make sure I have a great experience. If you want a dependable, well-run airport hotel in Denver with strong value and great service, this Aloft is an easy recommendation.
Everything was great! Especially the big bed. Loved it.
I didn’t like that there was nowhere to put shampoo and things like that in the shower.
The bed was very comfy, the street noise was minimal, the staff was very kind
The pillows smelled like someone else's musky head/hair. I dont know if its the cleaning process, but it was unpleasant. I had a couple of my own along thankfully.
Very clean and comfortable
Nothing it was great
The man who checked me in and was also there the next morning and the woman that checked me out were delightful.
I like more light
I really liked the property, especially the service. The receptionist, Taylor, was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. She really made a great impression and added to the overall positive experience.
Everything was just fine
You have to pay for parking
clean but kinda old.
Great staff
