Absolutely beautiful hotel with a welcoming atmosphere throughout. The staff were excellent — friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. The food was gorgeous, full of flavour and beautifully presented. A wonderful stay from start to finish.

We got checked in early . All the staff were friendly.
The lunch food was nice However the main meal a dinner time was poor. They didn’t have the choice we wanted and the meal we ended up with was a long time to wait and it wasn’t clocked to our liking and it was cold .
Lovely pub, great food. Service was good especially from Dawn at breakfast. A cheerful team. Location of pub was good, easy to get to and from. Car park was adequate, if not too busy.
Out of control of the pub. But the Church clock bells, rang on the hour every hour throughout the night. Dogs over the road barked most of the time. We couldn't close the window as nights were hot. Fans were provided. Next time we visit, we will ask for a room at the back!
Hotel staff is cheating clients - there was a warring that you need to check for late check in, therefore i booked a room with a possibility to cancel it. I checked with a hotel if late check in at 11pm would be acceptable and hotel confirmed saying ‘yes, as long as we know approx. time. After cancelation period ended, they sent me another response that it is not possible. To summarise - typical way how to charge the room twice.

Breakfast was delicious and very generous. Room and en-suite were spotless, lovely big bed which was really comfy (French room). Easy check in, very friendly staff. Great for Download as they are set up for you.

such a lovely hotel, cute rooms that are clean and comfy and so many amenities like coffee/tea, coffee machine, water etc. staff are so helpful and friendly and the breakfast is unreal, all freshly cooked and the best hotel breakfast i’ve ever had! we stayed for download and it was the perfect location only a 10 min drive away from the festival. will definitely be booking for next year as well :)

The pub was easy to find and park at, as soon as we got in, all the staff were really lovely and helpful. The room was really nice, overall 10/10 for everything. The full English breakfast was absolutely top tier as well.
