Breakfast - staff was great!! Food prepared with care - bacon was just the way I love it! The staff interact in a caring way - and keep attentive to coffee refills, food refills on the buffet, and also with cleanliness. They were actually the best part of the staff in my opinion. Far warmer than the front desk! They also have worked there many years and praise their management!!
Although the front desk people are "adequate" - having arrived twice from international travel where hospitality truly is an art for the whole country - adequate is just not much when arriving from all day flights!! Out of all my stays in Phoenix hotels for over 25 years - this hotel could really improve in this area!! Attitude of wanting your stay to be great is a wonderful way to serve the people who choose your hotel!

This time the shuttle driver was great! Very helpful - left on time and communicated well - being helpful to insure I had a good experience. Dropped exactly where I needed to be!! That makes a big difference to me.
Check in - not as expected at all other hotels I have stayed in ( a lot!!). Usually the staff goes out of their way to greet in a friendly manner and exude a desire to be helpful and ensure you have a positive stay. I have yet to experience that kind of attitude from the woman who is on evenings. She accuses me of being rude when I want to make sure that the information about the shuttle is clear and complete (which it has not always been in the past). I chalk it up to her life experience - however, good training could improve the situation... otherwise I may choose to stay at a different hotel. The one I loved and stayed at for years has closed - they recommended this hotel --- but it is not at all the attitude of service that the other hotel offered. AND to pay $10 a night for parking ... I thought it was $6 per night ... the other hotel was always free. lI want to like this hotel - just haven't been given a reason to after two stays. Another stay coming up --- let 3 be the charm???

Cleaning product smell (bleach) in rooms was overpowering. A suggestion would be to leave room doors open a bit after cleaning to evaporate fumes as there no windows to open.

We were staff and had to make our own beds, pick up clean towels and replacement coffee from the front desk.

The location wasn’t bad
On the phone the front dest person was less than concerned about our getting to the hotel. It wasn’t till we arrived that we saw it was no one in the lobby to distract the front deck. It was clear that the personnel cell phone was the distraction as we waited them to put the phone down.

Stay away, plenty of better option around the airport. Had to wait 50 minutes at 1 in the morning for a shuttle to the hotel that never arrived, because an incompetent front desk person didn’t confirm it. Never had this issue with any other hotels around the airports. Would not stay again
