Pros:

The view and location and the concierge services.

Cons:

Breakfast options weren't great but ok. Hot water was not available for a day. After that the water was yellow.

We had an excellent time at the Rees. Great views, service and spacious rooms.
Pros:

Great location just outside of town. Rooms had great views across the lake, spacious and well furnished. Housekeeping keeping and restaurant staff were perfection. Having a carpark and shuttle to town was handy.

Cons:

Walk to our room from the lobby required walking outside via 2 lifts. Was surprised to be woken by airplane noise in the mornings. We had to keep the blinds closed as you can see into rooms from the walkways.

WOW place to stay-Pass on the restuarant
Pros:

This is a magnificent place to stay. This is basically a condo right on the lake. The views are stunning. The facility had a washer/dryer which was so helpful since we were on a three week vacation, only bringing a carry on. A beautiful gas fireplace and well equipped kitchen and bathroom made this stay great. But by far the best thing is the view of the lake!! Wished we had more time to just relax and take in the view!!

Cons:

The location is far from town. They do have a shuttle on the hour which was very helpful. On our way there after being dropped off at the bus station we thought we would enjoy a walk to the hotel since it was right along the lake and there was a path. DO NOT make this mistake!! The path was closed for repairs quite a ways into our hike so we had to backtrack quite a bit. Find out where the shuttle can pick you up or use a taxi/uber.
Also,I do not recommend the restaurant. We had dinner there one night and it was VERY overpriced for what we got. I don't mind paying for a gourmet meal but the portions were laughable and the food was not even that great. Also it seems they are trying way too hard to be high class. Very pretentious. Really fell flat. How about serving good food at a fair price. You might just hit it out of the park with that location.

Location, staff and very clean

Cons:

The restaurant dinner options are too expensive and minimum choices, the bar has limited eating options as does room service.
Breakfast is abundant and high quality.

Lovely place to stay, stunning views from your room. Comfortable and quiet.
Pros:

Stayed at the Rees for the view and its proximity to central Queenstown.

Cons:

Didn't like that there were no "Do not disturb" buttons or cards for your door. The cleaners knocked on your door quite early in the mornings.
