A good option when visiting Galway.
Pros:

Proximity to Galway
Very comfortable bed and room
Good bar with good TVs to watch sport

Cons:

Breakfast only ok.. fruit is not fresh. Tight space .
The bar and restaurant is all one, so the smell of curry while enjoying my beer was off-putting! Very busy road in front , made it tricky by car and on foot. Very small pool.

Not worth the money paid due to a poor experience overall.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable and clean

Cons:

I requested a quiet room at the back and that was not allocated when we arrived. The receptionist to did reallocate us to the back of the hotel on check in. I also booked a junior suite but the room was the same as my friends and she paid over 50 euro less for her standard room.
The breakfast was served in the area ajoining the bar area and we were allocated a very small table for 2 even though there were bigger tables available. We ordered from the kitchen and it was a long wait for poached eggs.

Everything about the hotel was great except having a shared outdoor patio with other rooms.
Pros:

Great location with shopping and other dining options nearby within walking distance and a bus stop immediately across the street for easy public transportation to Galway. We drove and parking was plentiful. The bar and restaurant in the hotel were also very clean/nice with good staff and the live music entertainment was a great touch. The breakfast each morning also provided a lot of options to choose from.

Cons:

Our room had an outdoor patio that was shared with several other rooms. The room directly next to us was used by a couple who spent a great deal of time on the patio smoking and drinking, and were very vocal/loud well past a reasonable hour - it continued until about 1am our first night there. They were sometimes arguing/fighting with each other so that sort of killed the vibe. I had to wear earplugs to sleep because they were very intrusive, being immediately outside our room window.

Bad experience with poor hygiene
Pros:

Location was fine

Cons:

Unclear. Very powerful bad smell throughout the room. Carpet was dirty, which was likely the source of the worst of the smell. Bathroom door mechanism broken. Shower was not clean. General cleanliness and upkeep of the common areas of the hotel left a lot to be desired. Overall sense of bad hygiene across the hotel. Key card access to room was broken and I had to be let into my room by staff, meaning I had to wait at reception for comings and goings. Overall, a very poor quality experience well below typical practice, not befitting of the 4* standard, and very poor value for money.
