Perfect family spot staff were amazing so friendly and breakfast was 10/10

Definitely recommended
Pros:

Location ideal for those travelling by car as parking no problem. Rooms are big, including bathrooms. Restaurant served good food. Staff very nice and polite including cleaners.

Cons:

Breakfast could include better variety. Property needs some modernisation.

Galway visit
Pros:

Comfortable bed. Very nice breakfast with lots of choice and gluten free options were plentiful. Good service at on site restaurant.
Handy gym next door. Shops nearby.

Cons:

Longer distance into Galway than first thought. Didn’t spoil our trip though

It’s a three-star hotel
Pros:

The food in the restaurant was very good and the staff were helpful and nice
The breakfast was sufficient and delicious
Bed was comfortable enough

Cons:

The property is old, room was stuffy and packed not very clean. There were coffee stains on the carpet. The pool was old as well.

First time staying there, I liked the bar/restaurant, it was relaxing

I was surprised when I checked into the hotel that they required a credit card, and that's all they would accept, I only had a debit card

Family getaway
Pros:

We had a lovely big family room for the 5 of us ,2 adults and 3 kids..it was warm but there was a roof fan and we got a bigger fan supplied to room aswell..
Breakfast each morning included in the price
Leisure centre with swimming pool attached to hotel was an added bonus as we spent alot of time there
Good location near Galway and on road to Mayo aswell aswe went sightseeing to Mayo and Connemara
Good value for money!

Cons:

Mostly very good, small issues only
A buffet for hot food at breakfast would be preferable.
a fridge in the room even a small one would have been beneficial to store cool drinks as weather was very hot last week
An outside area apart from the restaurant to sit at with some parasols would be lovely in the summer I think..
Spinner for rinsing out swimsuits in changing rooms would be useful as there is nowhere to dry them especially if staying for a few days..the changing rooms also need up grading..some doors on lockers were absent or broken..the jacuzzi didn't work very well..

Good location nice food but a far cry from a 4 star
Pros:

Food was fab. Location was perfect. At check in we realised they forgot to put an extra bed in our room and the manager was really kind and fixed it herself. We were also gifted drinks vouchers for small inconvenience

Cons:

Minus the restaurant the hotel doesn't meet the standards of a 4 star. Maybe years ago it did but it is now dated. The carpets in the rooms could be replaced due to stains the shared balcony in our room the door didnt open and some woman was staring in our room at 3 in the morning from the other room. The pool was so cold it shouldn't be advertised as a heatd pool I actually think my kids came out blue with the cold! The staff at the restaurant never came down to take our order we always had to go get them! Also some of there english was not very good which made ordering very difficult and I felt like I was inconvenience.
