Important information:

Swim caps are needed to enter the pool and can be purchased in the leisure centre for EUR 3.

Children under the age of 15 are not permitted in the bar after 21:00 and are not allowed after 22:00 from May to September.

Please note that, for health and safety reasons, the property will accommodate only the number of guests specified in the booking confirmation.

Please note that the leisure centre is open from Monday to Thursday from 05:45 to 21:00, on Fridays from 05:45 to 20:00, on Saturdays and Sundays from 08:00 to 19:00, and on bank holidays from 08:00 to 20:00.

The fitness centre, pool and Spa areas close 15 minutes prior to the closing times noted above and all members are asked to be mindful of the need to vacate the club’s changing rooms before closing time.

There is a frequent bus service to Galway city centre from outside the hotel.


For security and fraud purposes, guests are required to present the same valid credit card used to guarantee the reservation, and a valid government-issued photo identification (passport or driver's licence) that matches the name on the credit card. Both the credit card and the identification must be presented by the registered guest at check-in.
If a guest is unable or unwilling to present the required credit card and matching photo identification upon arrival, Claregalway Hotel reserves the right to refuse check-in and cancel the reservation.
In such circumstances, the reservation will be treated in accordance with the applicable booking terms and cancellation policy, and any applicable charges may still apply. We do not accept cash payments on reception desk. Please be advised also that we do not accept American Express Card


For bookings of 5 bedrooms or more, or stays of 5 nights or more, a 50% deposit is required within 7 days of making the reservation, and a full non-refundable payment is required 6 weeks in advance of arrival.

For bookings made during the Galway Races, you will be contacted by hotel staff regarding deposit payment.

Please note that the kids' club is not available during Galway Race Week.

A breakfast surcharge, equal to the adult breakfast rate, applies to children aged 13 years or older.

Hotel was very clean, staff very friendly and helpful.

Spacious and clean rooms. Good selection at breakfast, dinner was excellent

Cons:

TV wouldn't work properly handy to have when you have kids. Doors were a little stiff also in the room. But it wouldn't stop me staying again

Aangename verrassing dat we konden profiteren van het zwembad en de faciliteiten.

Cons:

Het complex is volledig out-dated. Dringend aan verandering toe. Bij hygiëne heb ik ook verschillende vragen rond vooral in de kamer. Prijs / kwaliteit vond ik niet optimaal.

Room was spacious. Food in restaurant was good.

Cons:

Jacuzzi not working, sauna not warm. Second stay here in a month and not working then either.
Reception staff not very friendly or helpful .Restaurant staff were good.
Long wait at bar to be served.
It is expensive hotel for what you get so not good value for money. If leisure centre was modernised and rates reduced would be nice hotel.
