Beautiful little gem of history
Pros:

Beautiful hotel with lots of character. Despite being very busy staff were really helpful. Good facilties, lovely food.
Lots of history about Stuart Sutcliffe who grew up here, which we didn't know on booking. Amazing setting just opposite Sefton Park. Great location all round.
We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

Cons:

Parking is a bit of a premium not sure where you can park if just outside hotel is full.
Our room was on top floor and was incredibly hot, we stayed during a mini heatwave. You could only open one of the 3 windows so we bought a fan. It would be good if the hotel provided fans in the room.

Nice location rooms uncomfortable
Pros:

Great location. Park just across the road, Lark Lane sort distance and city centre short cab ride away. Food good.

Cons:

Both times we’ve stayed rooms have been really small. This time the room had no blinds on the velux window and we were woken up by bright sunshine very early. As the property is on the corner of a main road also very noisy so sleep quality not great both stays.

was everything we wanted. plenty of beatles memorabilia
Pros:

Excellent breakfast. Best sausages I've ever eaten. Everything else cooked to perfection. Staff was happy to customise.

Cons:

A chair in the room. Shelves in the bathroom for toiletries. Rubber mat in shower to be less slippy.
