Always stay here when I visit
Pros:

Always top notch, lovely room, lovely food, big free car park, 5 mins to work on the back road. Especially lovely staff in the restaurant this visit.

Good value for money. Would definitely consider staying again.
Pros:

The room was very spacious and overlooked the rear garden area. The mattress was very comfortable which is important for us. The shower was very powerful and lots of hot water. The staff were very helpful and friendly on check in and the lovely cleaner took our key when we checked out. We ate in the pub, well outside in the lovely well kept garden area.

Cons:

The room looked is little tired and could do with freshening up with paint especially the window cills. The mirror in the bathroom wasn’t working. The carpet requires cleaning.

nice hotel and a good stay other than no breakfast
Cons:

the hotel is not ideal for anyone working as they do not start breakfast until 09:00 on a week day which is no good for a normal working day with meetings, and when asked i was told nothing before 09:00

There water leak from ceiling dripping on the bed from light fitting fire alarm went off but no one came to let know that was all under control the staff where very at the bar

Pros:

The food was excellent and staff very helpful/friendly. Great location by Lancaster Canal and nearby restaurants.

Sufficient for overnight stay but would struggle to stay longer

Disabled parking facilities close to hotel entrance.

Cons:

Accommodation was on first floor level which is not highlighted in hotel description/details when booking .Party member uses elbow crutches which can be awkward on narrow stairs.
Room had not recently been cleaned as dust had settled on lights , shelves , bathroom towel radiator. Room in need of maintenance, paint chipped, shower had black mould.
Unable to open any of the windows in the room which are painted closed. Extremely hot overnight the fan provided was not sufficient
community carpet area very dirty
you are unable to leave the hotel through the pub itself if checking out before 9am you have to leave via fire escape again really not ideal for party member using elbow crutches when having to deal with luggage. Bottom steps were wet. This was also not highlighted in the hotel description/facilities details prior to booking

Over priced and non existent service
Pros:

Lovely pub but the lukewarm warm food and really terrible service completely lets it down.
It could be fantastic but unfortunately it’s not ☹️

Service please
Pros:

Was having g trouble with payment card payment on phone don't take cash so my friend come out told me so I went back in myself to pay for the round after standing at the bar for 5 min with no 1 behind the bar and the only member of staff I so wad a young gentleman early 20s whom took empty plates to kitchen and full plates back out of whom made eye contact with myself and didn't say a word there customer service needs too be worked on it wasn't long ago this pub was closed and we are trying to support local business but when staff don't acknowledge a customer what are we supposed to do I'm walking out
