Great property loverly staff will stay again
The showers were just not consistent with heat and our bath constantly leaked but overall the property was fabulous and I will stay again
Swimming pool, sauna was lovely. Breakfast was amazing
Only had one lift so continued to us the stairwell where you would find dirty plants and trays of left over food from room service

Der var praktisk talt ingen skabsplads, så man kunne ikke pakke sin kuffert ud. Det store antal pyntepuder var bare irriterende i værelset, som var relativt lille, selvom det var et superior værelse.
Der var kun en fungerende elevator, så man måtte vente længe særligt om morgenen, hvor rengøringspersonalet også skulle bruge den.
La cama no está mal aunque la almohada es un poco rara. El tamaño de la habitación tampoco está mal y la cama es grande. Por otro lado, se oye algo de ruido de las habitaciones contiguas pero no es poca cosa. Hay una tetera, té y café.
A pesar de las cortinas opacas, entraba muchísima luz a través de la ventana que está frente a la cama, con lo cual, a partir de las 5 y cuarto de la mañana era bastante difícil dormir bien; creo que deberían poner un vinilo opaco al menos en esa ventana. Además había un único ascensor para todo el hotel, incluido el personal, y encima este ascensor no está programado de forma lógica, por ejemplo, para ir desde la planta 10 a la 5, es posible que bajes hasta abajo y luego vayas subiendo una a una cada planta hasta llegar a la 5. El personal no habla español (al menos no hubo nadie que hablara español en los 5 días que yo estuve allí), eso sí, son amables. El personal de limpieza no renueva diariamente la leche para el café y repone algo de té pero no al completo. Por último mencionar que como amenities únicamente hay un gorro de ducha y una bolsa pequeña de papel. Creo que con lo que cuesta la estancia podrían ser un poco más generosos. Ah y se me olvidaba, te preguntan por whatsApp si está todo bien y si necesitas algo pero cuando tú contestas que tienes algún problema, no te resuelven absolutamente nada, te meten un link para hacer reservas y otro tipo de sugerencias que no tienen nada que ver al respecto.

The location was convenient.
Staff were polite when issues were reported.
The dust issue in the room was addressed after I raised it.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, resulting in two poor nights' sleep for both of us. Although I reported this, I never received any follow-up or update.
The room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard on arrival. There was a significant amount of dust around the curtain area, which triggered my asthma and required me to use my inhaler.
Housekeeping failed to replace our towels on the final day.
One of the lifts was out of service throughout our stay, causing long waits. The remaining lift also appeared to malfunction, repeatedly travelling between multiple floors before reaching our destination.
After checking out, I contacted the hotel regarding headphones I had accidentally left in the room. I was told someone would call me back after investigating, but I never received a response.
Location was excellent. It was all clean. Staff were very friendly. Cleaning staff was also helpful. I appreciate that they accommodated my request for the room.

Specifically booked this hotel for the spa facilities for my partners 30th.. but they were very disappointing and didn’t feel clean at all. The steam room had an unbearable smell.
The room was on the top floor of the hotel, with a skylight view of the city. It was quiet, convenient, well maintained, and the staff were super friendly. In the morning, the breakfast was exceptional and the wait staff were equally gregarious.
The hotel was undergoing maintenance of one of its two elevators. Although inconvenient, the wait time for elevators was reasonable (as was expected). Other than that, Apex Waterloo is a great choice.

Excellent location on Princes Street in a beautiful historic building. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the swimming pool was a great bonus. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
The only minor downside was that the beds were a little too soft for our preference.
