Great location. Great service. Nice room and freshly made breakfast.
Pros:

Excellent location close to the Royal Mile. Great and freshly made breakfast. Clean and comfortable room with a large and well-designed bathroom. Some free room service, e.g. fresh milk for the coffee.

Cons:

We liked pretty much everything. No complaints.

Goed hotel op een goeie centrale locatie.
Pros:

De centrale ligging op de grens van de New Town en de Old Town van Edinburgh. De kamer was ruim en comfortabel en air conditioned en lag aan de stillere achterzijde van het hotel; we kregen hem desgevraagd zonder omhaal toegewezen. Verder een heel goed ontbijt en vriendelijk personeel.

Cons:

Waterloo Place is razend druk met toeristen en bussen, zodra je het hotel uitstapte kwam je daarin terecht.

Pros:

We went to the Snow Patrol concert at the Castle, so the location of the hotel was perfect. The reception staff were lovely and helpful. We were allocated a room on the second floor, but it felt quite dark, there was a light flickering and the view was non existent, we phoned and asked for room move which was dealt with quicky and efficiently to the 7th floor.

Cons:

The lift/elevator was out of order, and it caused overcrowding in the remaining lift. On occasion creating long waits to go anywhere.

Muy buen hotel, con excelente ubicación en una bella ciudad
Pros:

Muy buen desayuno. La ubicación es excelente a 200/300 mts de la Royal Mile y bastante equidistante entre los dos Palacios.
