Warm welcome to a great location with everything you need close by but room maintainance was poor.
Pros:

Great location and spacious rooms

Cons:

Furnishing and bedding old and poorly maintained. Couch was tattered and falling apart. Bed linen had holes in it. Daily cleaning of rooms was hit and miss

Pros:

В Эдинбург мы приехали во время Международного фестиваля искусств и культуры, поэтому стоимость гостиниц в это время очень высокая, но иногда приходится чем-то жертвовать... Главное, что наш отель был расположен очень удобно, рядом вокзал, да и практически до всех достопримечательностей можно дойти пешком.

Отель очень понравился, приветливый персонал, всё чисто и аккуратно, прекрасные завтраки, есть бассейн с банями, приятно отдохнуть после активного дня.
Очень удобно, что вещи можно оставить в камере хранения, мы приехали рано, а уезжали поздно.

Номер небольшой, но уютный, кровати удобные, единственное замечание, душ расположен неудобно нет ограждения или небольшого порога и вся вода из душа не успевает стекать, поэтому пол в ванной становился мокрым, а вытереть его нечем.

Cons:

Ещё одно неудобство, если в номере жарко, то кондиционер дует прямо на кровать, а окно можно было открыть только с 12 ночи до 6 утра, в остальное время с улицы раздавался монотонный громкий и неприятный звук, но у нас было только две ночи, то мы никому не жаловались, думаю, номер бы нам всё-равно не поменяли, так как гостиница была заполнена.

Glad it was only one night.
Pros:

The location is ok for the fringe festival.

Cons:

The room was extremely small. The window looked out to multiple dumpsters and garbage cans. The toilet barely flushed and water in the toilet was constantly running making it difficult to sleep. There was no luggage rack. To access the elevator you have to carry your luggage up four stairs, and down the stairs to leave. No one helps with this. I thought I had booked at a luxury hotel, but for my room, in the basement overlooking garbage with a broken toilet, I felt like a fool for having spent so much money. They did send an email asking how things were and after my comments offered us late check-out and complimentary breakfast. That was appreciated. Make sure you look at the square feet of the room and the floor it's on.

Great location and quiet too.
Pros:

We loved the location. Not on the Royal Mile which was quite crowded and noisy( we were visiting during the Fringe Festival and the military Tattoo) but close enough to everything we wanted to see. Nice large bathroom and comfortable beds. Cute welcome goodies on the bed too.

Cons:

No breakfast included.

It was fine but massively expensive for what it was. I have had better stays elsewhere in the world for half the cost.
Pros:

Good location, modern

Cons:

Noisy room. Fans and machines outside the room whirred away all night.
Blinds on windows old and torn did not allow blackout.
Toilet extremely hard to flush.

Pros:

There is no parking. Had to park 3 blocks away. Staff were not helpful in directing us where to go. Expensive hotel room was 3 stories below grade in a dank smelly basement. Elevators were small slow and always full. Room was very small.
