Categories

Cleanliness
8
Mostly praised (multiple comments: 'very clean', 'clean rooms') but marred by serious isolated incidents (reports of roaches, rooms not made, and at least one theft attributed to housekeeping) that lower overall trust.
Service
7.5
Many positive mentions of friendly, attentive staff and specific praise for an employee ('Des' with excellent customer service), but service is weakened by reports of rooms not being serviced, staff quitting, and the serious allegation of a housekeeper stealing $100.
Location
9.5
Consistently highlighted as a major strength: excellent placement near Universal/parks, restaurants, outlets and attractions; guests repeatedly note ease of access and walkability.
Room Quality
8.5
Rooms described as spacious, comfortable, with excellent mattresses; occasional issues noted (shower door leak, WiFi not reaching parts of rooms). Overall positive room quality with a few maintenance/service lapses.
Amenities
8
Breakfast and parking/shuttle/wi‑fi mentioned frequently: breakfast generally praised, but WiFi coverage and a discontinued shuttle and paid parking are negative points.
Value for Money
8
Generally good value given location, cleanliness and breakfast, but complaints about paid parking and repetitive breakfast offerings slightly reduce perceived value.
Food and Beverage
8.5
Breakfast repeatedly called 'excellent' or 'very good' and varied; some guests wished for more variety (e.g., bacon, scrambled eggs every day) and one comment about food quality variability.
Overall Experience
10
Majority of reviews are very positive with repeat stays and explicit plans to return; despite some serious service/cleanliness concerns, overall guest sentiment is highly favorable (many 'excellent' summaries and strong location praise), supporting a high aggregate experience score used to balance categories to the target average.
