Comfortable room, great location, stylish decor
Ich schätzte die Ruhe im Haus und die sehr freundlichen Gastgeber. Mein Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und es fehlte an nichts, wenn ich von meinen Terminen ausser Haus zurückkam. Im Zimmer waren immer genügend Tee und Kaffeekapseln sowie Wasserflaschen im kleinen Kühlschrank bereit. Die Nähe zum Strand sowie die zu Fuss gut machbare Distanz zum Stadtzentrum fand ich genial! Kleine Gastronomie direkt um die Ecke (indisch, persisch, italienisch, und anderes). Auch ein kleiner Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke hat die wichtigsten Dinge für den täglichen Gebrauch.
Mir hat alles gut gefallen. Obwohl ich bewusst ein Hotel und kein Bed&Breakfast gewählt habe für meinen Aufenthalt in Brighton, war leider selten jemand anzutreffen im kleinen Aufenthaltsraum, was ich persönlich etwas schade fand. Toll fand ich die grosszügige Küche mit Kochherd, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Geschirr, die die Gäste benützen dürfen. Ich habe mich immer ausserhalb verpflegt, Frühstück bis Abendessen. Daher brauchte ich dieses Angebot nicht. Wer davon aber Gebrauch machen möchte, muss sich zeitlich mit den Gastgebern absprechen, da die Küche bei deren Abwesenheit aus Sicherheitsgründen (Gasherd) geschlossen bleiben muss.
Ich habe schon einige Unterkünfte in Brighton erlebt - das Red Brighton Blue sticht als etwas Besonderes heraus. Extrem liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Kontakt mit den beiden Inhabern ist immer sehr nett und verbindlich.
Perfekt wäre es jetzt, wenn noch Frühstück angeboten würde. Aber das scheint mir generell selten geworden zu sein. Es gibt in Brighton und insbesondere im Viertel aber auch genügend Möglichkeiten, ein englisches Frühstück zu genießen.

Location was great , clean , very tidy , I stayed in a single room , apart from some noise from people returning home from a night out along the street outside ,which is normal , everything was great
Everything was very tastefully done. USB socket in wall was very handy. Lots of tea coffee and biscuits. All the info you may need was available and the host took the time to draw everything out on a map for us.

The hotel was nicely decorated, the bathroom was modern and well equipped. WiFi was excellent. Its close to the beach but quiet which is great. I had a single person room. It is smaller but roomy with high ceilings, lovely window shuttered and a comfortable bed.
We were met with such friendly staff , which continued through our stay.
The room was beautiful and the bed was very comfy.
We were given great advice on restaurants and where to go in Brighton.

Les dernières chambres ne sont pas climatisées, il y a un ventilateur au plafond. Il peut faire très chaud lors des journées de chaleur.
The room had all I needed
Personalet og beliggenhet med få minutter gåavstand til stranden og sentrum gågatene samtidig med relativt stille utenfor var utmerket, Eierne er svært hjelpsomme og hyggelige. Den koselige lille hagen, inngangspartiet med utsikt til sjøen var topp.
Antall spisesteder rett ved er mange, men det smakte ikke godt etter min smak. Hotellet er uten heis og det er litt langt å gå trappene til 5 etasje, men de tilbød å bære kofferten.
