Good hotel, great location but staff could be friendlier
Pros:

The receptionist ordered us a taxi very quickly to our gig location that night

Cons:

The receptionist at check in didn't smile when she first greeted me at check in. Whilst she was perfectly civil checking me in you got the impression that she'd rather be somewhere else. Not what you come to expect from a 5 star hotel.

An excellent stay which was almost a 10/10 bit due to the TV not working properly this brought it to a 9/10.
Pros:

The spacious room and the extra amenities including the turn down service

Cons:

Our TV didn’t work properly.

Very noisy rooms.
Pros:

The location was good and the room was clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The rooms were not sound proof. We could hear every noise from the street, even people talking. We were moved to 4th floor but still very noisy. When our room was serviced, we placed our used glasses and cups on the table. When we returned, they were still there. We also had no water. It took 3 requests to finally get the items replaced with clean ones, and that was after one staff member telling us the used items were clean.

I booked the fitz William hotel for my hubbys birthdays it was 5star but not that nice for a 5 star hotel very dull beds
Pros:

For a 5 star it’s not that nice I’ve stayed in better

Cons:

Very dull beds are very low and not that comfortable lights kept flickering on and off

Sehr komfortabeles Bett. Gut ausgestattes Bad. Sehr guter Auswahl und Qualität des Frühstücks

Cons:

Das Angebot im Bar Restaurant. Keine kleinere Snacks (wir sind relativ spät angekommen und wollten kein grosses Essen) vefugbar.
Wein war sehr teuer
