Perfect for exploring Beijing

A fantastic hotel with a great location in Beijing. Stunning to see the interior of the hotel as you enter. We had a Grand deluxe room on the 5th floor with city views which was spacious. Large double door bathroom with separate glass door shower cubicle and toilet cubicle and also a bath. Large double bed with wardrobe, writing desk and chair and a separate lounge chair and footstool.

Отель поражает атмосферой европейского дворца: мраморные холлы, хрустальные люстры, изящная мебель, позолота - роскошно и торжественно.
Хороший большой номер с кроватью king size, хорошо оборудован.

Cons:

Отель красивый, но местами требуют обновления, часть персонала слабо владеет английским, в меню завтрака хотелось бы добавить больше видов мясных деликатесов и сыров.

Отель морально и физически устарел, на фото выглядит все помпезно и красиво, сервис на нулевом уровне

Cons:

В 23:00 в наш номер пришли сотрудники полиции для проверки документов. В моём опыте это первый случай, когда полиция в столь позднее время беспокоит гостей отеля и просит предъявить паспорта.

Отель позиционирует себя как пятизвёздочный. При заселении мы уже предоставили паспорта сотрудникам отеля, и с них были сделаны копии. Поэтому мне непонятно, почему отель не мог самостоятельно предоставить полиции необходимые регистрационные данные, не нарушая покой и приватность гостей.

Даже если подобные проверки предусмотрены местными правилами, о такой возможности необходимо заранее предупреждать гостей. В нашем случае никакой информации об этом предоставлено не было.

Особенно возмутило то, что моя жена открыла дверь и предъявила паспорта, однако сотрудники полиции попросили разбудить меня, чтобы лично убедиться, что я действительно являюсь её мужем.

Подобная ситуация вызывает серьёзные вопросы к уровню безопасности, конфиденциальности и качеству сервиса в отеле. Складывается впечатление, что отель находится под особым вниманием полиции и в нём ранее могли происходить сомнительные ситуации, из-за которых теперь проверяют постояльцев.

Считаю недопустимым, чтобы гостей пятизвёздочного отеля без предварительного уведомления беспокоили поздно вечером и заставляли подтверждать личные отношения. Прошу предоставить официальное объяснение произошедшего и сообщить, на каком основании проводилась данная проверка.

Top plek in Beijing, metro dichtbij.
Pros:

Eigenlijk alles, behalve het ontbijt was kwaliteit/prijs niet helemaal in verhouding. Verder was het top! Babybedje werd gebracht voor onze 2 maanden oude baby en we hadden mooie kamers op de 17e verdieping met uitzicht over de verboden stad.

Cons:

Ontbijt was qua prijs/kwaliteit aan de dure kant.

Pros:

We enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel had a lovely feel. The door man was very friendly. The concierge helped one evening giving us water late at night.

Cons:

I thought the check-in staff should have greeted us with a smile. The same with the breakfast lady that was on duty Friday 18th September at 6.40am. A smile will go a long way. One evening there were children running up and down the stair case and screaming. We could hear their screams on level 9 with our door closed. No one asked them to stop.
