Met the expectations that come with the price, but the family next door annoyed us several times.
Pros:

I enjoyed the accessibility to the city of Helen nearby, as well as the strong water pressure, large fridge, microwave, and storage space. The different option of indoor lighting was also nice, and allowed for us to leave the lights low when we didn't want to open a window for those in the parking lot to see us.

Cons:

I did not enjoy how the bed felt mildly damp, which caused my clothes to feel so after a nights sleep as well. I'm unsure if the freon within the AC unit is bad, but it was slightly uncomfortable. There was also a visible crack within the ceiling, and a few of the outlets didn't allow a charger to plug in. It was also a shame we only had one window which looked directly into the parking lot. While not under the staffs control, there was a family that stayed next to us who was incredibly loud during quiet hours, and continuously camped out and tailgated directly in front of their room with a large cooler and lawn chairs. The walls were thin, so we heard everything they said and did, including their TV they left on multiple times.

Not satisfied, overpaid for stay and what we received
Pros:

The location was good

Cons:

Mold in the bathtub, paint chipping off on both doors, cracking ceiling, pool was locked and not able to use, was a hot day and it would have been nice to take a dip in the pool

We made it work and it was fine.
Pros:

The location was great.
The room was clean.
Parking was free.
Staff was very friendly

Cons:

TV cable totally sucked!!!! No variety and what was on the guide for the TV did not match what was on that channel. The bed was not comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was very low.

Underwhelming. It wasn't the worst but it certainly wasn't the best either.
Pros:

The room was clean and had been recently updated. Full-size fridge was nice.

Cons:

It was more like a motel. Our room was on the second floor with no elevator. The stairwell smelled like urine. It was a farther walk into town than I expected since it was touted as being "downtown". The pool was TINY and was very well-used. It didn't look clean enough to tempt me to get in. The breakfast was very basic. They had about 5 items and the coffee wasn't very good. There wasn't enough seating for the number of people eating at the same time. It was nearly $500 for two nights so I was expecting something a little nicer.

It was ok. I feel I got what I paid for. Too far from town. I probably won't stay again.

A little further from center of town than I expected. The breakfast was as minimal but what was expected

Cons:

The pillows were awful! Could have had some nicer ones. But the room was clean enough and the bed was very clean. Don't be so stingy with the soap bars! Lol!
