What to watch out for

Cons:

The door for the bathrooms in our hotel room didnt have locks. It was just a sliding door. The water was also brown at first when we had just gotten there but that went away 10 minutes later after running the water til it was clear.

When we got there the tub was running and we were confused so I walked in and dark brown water was blasting out and it had sediment in the tub and I was so grossed out we went to the front desk to let them know. He had just checked me in and not told me anything about this but when I told him about it he said “oh yeah we just fixed a pipe on the roof it will
Start running clear soon” …… I was so grossed out and went back upstairs and it eventually did but then my husband had to clean the tub out as there was sand and stuff still in it so I would go in there. Later in the night my daughter went to brush her teeth and even though the sink had been clear earlier brown water shot out on her toothbrush so she had to throw that away and couldn’t brush her teeth. It was dosgusting and no one ever came to check on it like he said and no one even alerted us it could happen. Also the bathroom
Door is so heavy to slide I was stuck in there once and smashed my
Finger once and had to get my son to come
Slide the door open from the outside so I could get out. Lastly the electrical outlets by the bed were like to wide and would barely hold a plug in as they were to loose so it wouldn’t charge my phone. Overall a very bad experience.

Not Great
Pros:

We booked a room to see a concert at the stadium. We have stayed at Hampton Inns before but this one was not pleasant. We arrived at 12:30 pm. Check in was at 4:00 pm which I felt was very late. The front desk said that they would have some rooms available after 1:00 pm, so we went to get a bite to eat. We returned at 2:30 pm and were told that no rooms were available. We had to sit in the lobby for another hour and a half and asked the desk several times to check availability of a clean room for us. Finally after approaching the desk at 4:00 pm our room became available. We got up to the room and opened the door and it had an odd smell to it. We were so exhausted from waiting for almost 4 hours to get our room we decided to proceed. Later we noticed that the AC unit seemed to be leaking and the carpet was wet around it. This is unacceptable. The room should not have been given to us at all.
The breakfast was OK. There was no cut up fruit like we had at other Hampton Inns. Just a couple of apples in plastic wrap. The hotel is tired and needs to be updated. You need to do better.

The uncomfortable pillows & lack of information on how the parking deck works. Like get your key card before entering the deck knowing its blocked off. Also using it to exit when checking out or using be suck paying a fee to exit when you already paid one during check-in.

Pros:

I loved the location and the staff was phenomenal. There were quite a few spiders in my room which isn't the end of the world and I also had issues with the constant fan setting not staying on which was disruptive to my sleep.

Cons:

Toilets were acting up constantly. Was like this the last time I stayed there as well.

Breakfast was good and all the staff was friendly.

Cons:

Shelf’s were leaning in the bathroom, coat rack was about to fall off the wall, didn’t have sheets for the two pull out beds we called twice and asked for sheets they only brought us one set. The black out shade in the bedroom didn’t come down.

Over all it was very clean and the staff was nice.
Pros:

The room was clean, the lobby was very nice with free coffee and they gave me 2 bottles of water when I checked in. The breakfast was very good and the person who was attending to it, kept making sure everything was wiped down and clean.

Cons:

It was a little pricey, $469 for 1 night and $35 for parking, but it was the only hotel I could find that would rent 1 night that close to BOA stadium.

Great experience!
Pros:

We had a great experience visiting here during the Big Charlotte Anime Con! Melissa at the front desk was absolutely spectacular in making us feel welcome and taken care of! Tyler was also great in helping us while we were checking out. The location was conveniently located very close to the convention center and many local restaurants. I would recommend staying here for any event in uptown, especially if Melissa is working!
