The history and architecture of this grand Hotel is mesmerising from the moment you walk in. There is an elegance and charm staying in a hotel like this, giving it the added warmth and delight that goes with staying in a beautiful place like Matera.
I did not want to leave, having had such a fantastic stay in my suite, with its location, stunning views, and lovely staff that made it truly a marvellous experience.
I also wish to give a special compliment to the staff member Asia (hope I am pronouncing the name correctly). Upon my arrival, she was extremely polite and professional, gave me a brief tour and story of the hotel, and provided a lovely hospitality that make these stays a memorable experience to treasure. Please ensure my compliments are passed to her.

The location and staff were fantastic, and also absolutely loved our room! The tub was the size of a large jacuzzi, and the were views amazing from every window and even better from the balcony. Truly a memorable experience, celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday and our 34th wedding anniversary. Thank you Palazzo Gattini!

Loved everything about our stay at this hotel. It was faultless.
We were collected from the car park and brought to the hotel, our room was ready early and we were welcomed so warmly.
The hotel is in a super location by the cathedral with amazing views.
The staff at reception and breakfast are all so friendly and can’t do enough for you. Fabulous breakfast selection too.
The room had everything we needed and more - it was a perfect stay - thank you!!

Adorei a localização, a decoração, o cheiro do hotel, a vista do quarto sobre o Duomo. Dão imensas e excelentes amenities, produtos excelentes. Maravilhoso, tudo excelente, um verdadeiro 5 estrelas. Os funcionários muito profissionais e um excelente serviço de shuttle. viajo muito para bons hoteis e este vai ficar na memória. Voltaria apesar da experiencia do pequeno almoço.
O pequeno almoço foi pessimo tendo em conta o nivel do hotel. Uma decepção. Pouca variedade do buffet e produtos de qualidade média, nada ao nivel esperado nesse hotel. Até agua e manteiga tinhamos que pedir e não estava disponível no designado buffet. Mas o pior foi ter 3 empregados de pe, virados para a nossa mesa a olhar para nós enquanto comíamos. Achamos péssimo, uma pena num hotel tão bom.
