Wir hatten einen rundum sehr guten Aufenthalt im Scott’s Hotel in Killarney.
Die Lage ist wirklich top – sehr zentral und perfekt, um Killarney zu Fuss zu erkunden. Gleichzeitig bietet das Hotel einen kostenfreien Parkplatz, was gerade bei einer Rundreise mit dem Auto ein grosser Pluspunkt ist.
Unser Zimmer 405 hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Es war sauber, komfortabel und insgesamt wirklich schön. Auch an der Rezeption wurden wir jederzeit freundlich empfangen und das gesamte Personal war sehr angenehm.
Besonders cool fanden wir die Live-Musik am Abend. Sie sorgt für eine tolle Atmosphäre und passt einfach perfekt zu einem Aufenthalt in Irland.
Ansonsten gibt es von unserer Seite nichts zu beanstanden: tolle Location, schönes und sauberes Zimmer, freundliches Personal, kostenfreies Parken und jeden Abend Live-Musik. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden definitiv wiederkommen.
Kleiner Verbesserungsvorschlag zu Zimmer 405:
Rund um das Waschbecken fehlen teilweise die Fugen beziehungsweise könnten diese einmal sauber erneuert und nachgezogen werden. Wirklich nur eine Kleinigkeit, die das ansonsten sehr gute Gesamtbild noch etwas perfekter machen würde.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Walking distance from the train station. Beautiful hotel, lovely bar area. Good entertainment and sports coverage. Breakfast was really good. And the staff were friendly and helpful.
I was very disappointed with the size and location of our room. The room was changed at my request but the new room was not a major improvement. If you are not very agile ask for a room near the lift with a walk in shower.
Of all the places we stayed during our 11-night vacation, Scott's Hotel in Killarney was the absolute highlight for our family of five!
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the gorgeous hotel lobby and an easy check-in process. Staff members were wonderfully helpful, and parking was a breeze with simple elevator access directly up to our room with all our luggage.
We booked the two-bedroom apartment, and it was exceptional value for money. Having two separate bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen allowed all five of us to comfortably spread out. Our grown sons each had their own space and beds, while my husband and I had ours. Everything was impeccably clean, and the bathrooms were perfect.
The highlight of our stay was the atmosphere: we opened up the porch doors and living room windows to listen to the live music playing below! The hotel kindly gave us a heads-up that it could be lively until 11 PM, but we genuinely loved every second of it. Exhausted after a long day of traveling, my husband popped out to grab some local beer and wine, and we all relaxed together in the apartment soaking in the music.
The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Killarney with an easy walk to food, coffee, and local spots. Having stayed in Killarney twice now, I can say with confidence that this is the place to be. We only wished we had booked a longer stay, but we will definitely be back! 5 stars all
