Location and a river view room
Location and price good for location.
Rooms not very clean. Booked for two days for 3 adults yet only left one towel and coffee/teas for only one day. Also couldn’t use restaurant on evenings as it had been booked out privately yet we weren’t told that when booking.
Interior, bar, room and river Thames.
Nothing
Lovely location, car park facility, honour layout and mostly friendly staff.
1).
When the guests were checked in, their pre- requested twin beds were not given-. It took a while to sort it out.
2)
Two of the guests were settling in to their rooms only to find some unknown people entered their room with a key that were issued to them by the reception staff. The girl guests in the room were extremely alarmed and distressed by this situation.
This was potentially a very serious and dangerous incident for the young girls who were taken by surprise and scared at seeing strangers entering their rooms. Potential risk of harm to them through this mismanagement of keys to the rooms being given to strangers was significant. This is totally unacceptable and caused the girls who were booked for an enjoyable hen party, a huge amount of stress.
The location was beautiful
No air-conditioning
Very kind staff who were patient and helpful
The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. It's in a very good location, within walking distance to the train station directly into London, a two minute walk into town and all it's restaurants and standard shops and 15-25 minutes Heathrow. The windows actually open - nice for fresh air.
It is a very tired and warn down hotel. The beds are uncomfortable the sheets don't fit and the pillows are neither here nor there. It feels dirty. I have stayed a few times (out of necessity) and each time I go I think its so grubby and I have had to show staff, the mould, the hair in the shower and once I even had dirty used sheets on my properly made up bed.
