Just the location beside the river
Old one, not clean , old furniture, the rooms not clean
You have to request the house keeping for the next say and it doesn’t come.
Breakfast is soooooooo poooor just chese pork coffee and you are charged for that.
One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is old and poorly maintained, with inadequate cleaning throughout. My room was constantly damp and uncomfortable, and the reception staff were so unfriendly they would not even say hello. A very disappointing stay.

Easily one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. The whole place feels neglected, with poor cleaning in both the rooms and shared areas. My room was persistently damp and uninviting. Even a simple hello seemed too much to expect from the reception staff. I would not return.
Was very disapointed
Very disappointing stay: poor cleanliness, dated rooms and unreliable service
I stayed here for several weeks and was very disappointed with both the condition of the hotel and the service. The property feels old and poorly maintained, with creaking floors, dirty walls and cracked paint. It looks as though it has not been refurbished for a long time and is in clear need of renovation.
Housekeeping was consistently inadequate. The room was not cleaned or vacuumed properly, and basic toiletries such as soap and shampoo were not replenished. During the final week, I ended up cleaning the room myself and buying my own cleaning products and toiletries.
One housekeeping staff member was rude and removed my “Do Not Disturb” sign. Reception staff were also unhelpful, and I received no assistance with my two suitcases. An agreed request to clean the room before noon was not fulfilled.
Most concerningly, on 8 October, staff entered my room despite my explicit instruction not to enter and an agreement confirming that they would respect this.
These were repeated problems throughout my stay. I was here for work, and having to deal with basic cleanliness and service issues caused unnecessary disruption and ultimately led me to move elsewhere.
I requested a 30% refund for the stay because the cleanliness, comfort and service fell well below what I had paid for. Based on my experience, I would not choose to stay here again.
Beautiful location right on the river and close to town and easy check in. We were at Thorpe park fright nights and checked in after 9pm they have a 24 hrs reception. Parking right at location £10 for 24 hours very reasonable. Very comfy bed and bed for our child was good that is was not a basic sofa bed. Breakfast was very nice full English and extras for £15 per adult and £8 per child.
It’s halls were a little dated and fire alarm went off late in night. Probably an accident but still

It said it had a restaurant but only did bar food burgers or pasta had to pay extra £10 for parking and there was a public car park next to it that was cheaper fire alarm went off at 22 .50 for a minute

Amazing value for money, booked 2 standard rooms for £130 and ended up with a balcony and river view! Comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in too, very clean and good location close to lots of shops and restaurants.

Lovely location by the Thames. Close to wide choice of restaurants. Bed and bedding clean and comfortable.
Hotel seems to have many names so even using Google maps we drove past it about 4/5 times. Finding our rooms from reception was like entering a maze. Wasted 5 minutes getting unusual keyless room entry system to work - receptionist could have explained how it worked at check-in.
