Nice stay but we have Suggestions.
Pros:

Comfortable bed and room. No complaints. Suggest a full length mirror in the room and, at the least, a magnifying mirror in the bathroom.

NEVER STAY HERE
Pros:

If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would.

This morning, as we were leaving our room, we saw the housekeeping staff coming down the hallway. Not only did they do a poor job cleaning our room, but when we returned after being out all day, we found our room door wide open and completely unlocked.

This is absolutely unacceptable. Anyone could have walked into our room and taken our belongings. I had several valuable and important items left inside. I’ve stayed at countless hotels over the years, and this has never happened to me.

When I reported it to the front desk, all I received was, “Sorry, it was an accident.” That response did nothing to address the seriousness of the situation or the complete lack of security.

I’m extremely disappointed in both the housekeeping staff and the front desk’s handling of this incident. This was a major breach of trust and safety. I would never stay here again and would strongly recommend others avoid this hotel.

The staff was friendly, room was clean and very convenient to downtown Victoria if you don’t mind a short drive.
Pros:

The location is convenient for getting to downtown Victoria but staying out of the city at night. It was clean and had nice decor. The convenience of a restaurant on site was a plus.

Cons:

The parking lot is a nightmare, if you have a large vehicle it’s difficult to park especially if the lot is almost full. Also part of the issue is it is not big enough for all of the guests.

Pros:

We appreciated the cleanliness and quality of the room. Very quiet and staff was responsive to our needs.

Cons:

We had a kitchenette but there was no stove top burner or pots and pans not a can opener. This would have been helpful and made our stay more convenient. Fortunately, we had camping dishes we could use.

Pros:

Great service and great menu in onsite restaurant. Did not need to leave.

Cons:

Patio and restaurant not open at the same time so no outdoor eating which would have been nice to get some fresh air.
