We have just returned from another perfect couple of nights at The Hotel Du Vin York. We return regularly and are never dissappointed. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfasts are delicious and there is a good variety, Michelle and team are always friendly and helpful. Faye, Christina and Reception team are very friendly and efficient, nothing is too much trouble. Good parking is very important to us and is available here onsite for an extra charge but well worth it. We can,t fault this hotel and look forward to returning soon.
The rooms were beautiful, very clean with good facilities. All the staff were lovely.
The shower gel in my room was pretty much empty, something I didn't find out till I took a shower on Sunday morning. There was a small soap which I could use but it would have been nice to use the gel.

Considered staying for the breakfast but very expensive
The hotel is very nice and in a perfect location.
Meals-
The breakfast is advertised as fabulous and it’s not. Very basic buffet ( no cheese, cold meats or vegetables i.e tomatoes, cucumbers..) and the a la carte is nice but nothing amazing, the usual but i.e no pancakes or french toast…
As for the dining experience with paired wine, the wines were very good but the food was not. It left a lot to be desired.
O local fica num das principais avenidas da cidade, tem um ótimo estacionamento, mesmo que seja pago. Tem um ótimo café da manhã e a equipe é bem atenciosa.
Pequenos detalhes nada que comprometa. O quarto em que fiquei tive dificuldade com o controle de temperatura e ao andar as estruturas de madeira faziam barulho.
Hôtel du vin is quite well located. Close to the race course and Everyman cinema.
It small and quiet and feels like you are home.

Breakfast was ok but not free great (first time I have ever had eggs Benedict made on toast!!)
