A wonderful weekend break in a beautiful hotel in a great city!
Pros:

We have stayed at the Hotel du Vin several times and are always impressed by the quality of the rooms, food and overall friendliness of the staff. This time did not disappoint! We were upgraded to a suite which was fabulous in every way! The hotel is really well situated with a short walk into the centre of York and access to everything the city has to offer.

Cons:

Nothing!

Pros:

One of the best hotels I have stayed at for a long time. Lovely room, very stylish and comfortable. Hotel generally was immaculate and the staff so welcoming and pleasant.

Cons:

Only criticism was that arriving in the early hours after my flight was delayed, I so desperately wanted a biscuit with my coffee in my room. There weren't any ! The Chef failed to serve soft poached and fried eggs with pur English breakfast :(

Good hotel, but beds are uncomfortable.
Pros:

Good location, smart property, dog friendly. Interesting French food menu in the restaurant.

Cons:

The beds were very uncomfortable, matras was very soft and lumpy cause a back ache. Sloping ceiling in the Junior suite not suitable for tall persons. And room was very dark not enough windows.

Pros:

Cons:

במלון אין מעלית

Great Position
Pros:

Lovely location , less than 10 mins walking to centre. We bid and were "awarded " an upgrade , so we had a suite which was very nice . Hotel was clean and staff friendly and accommodating .

Cons:

Restaurant menu was a tad heavy on Garlic as I hate the stuff ......would be even worse for anyone with an actual allergy . I think probably the costs were at the high end , but acceptable.
