Beautiful building with great history. Room had everything we needed. Perfect location. Great breakfast and amazing staff xx
Nothing!
Centralt, vacker byggnad
Absolut ingen Wi-Fi!!
Excellent Location, nice pub
Wi Fi dosen't work too good but it old building and lot people staying which might effect that.
it was right in the centre good location
Historic building, comfy room, excellent restaurant.
Couldn't park in Church Street, had to park near coop
Pleasant staff, great location, historic building, breakfast and dinner very good
Our room needed refurbishment, bathroom door would not close and extractor fan sounded like a jet engine
Location and style
The bathroom could do with a bit of TLC and the shower was a bit unstable heat wise.
It’s a good location but tired now
The breakfast was not great
Its quirkiness and sense of history
Nothing
The breakfast is always amazing. The portions are very generous and the food is beautiful.
Lovely old building situated in the heart of Whitby
I appreciate the age of the hotel but the rooms desperately need updating. Hottest day of the year and no fan. No hairdryer. Uncomfortable beds/pillows. Had heavy rain and the windows don't shut properly. Breakfast was underwhelming. All in all disappointing 😞
comfortable bed, lovely hot bath and shower complimentary yorkshire tea in room
fab location
good breakfast dogs well catered for in seperate dining room, which we appreciated
the hotel is old lots of history,if you want high tech modern air con facilities maybe not for you
we had good food drink hot bath and good nights sleep ,so not dissapointed
car parking, not good for carrying luggage
my bed was right over loud music
Lovely location and easy to find
It was a bit run down could do with a freshen up and despite it not being full I was in the attic room which isnt great in heatwave
Breakfast was delicious, beautifully cooked and best fried bread and mushrooms ever!
* WiFi didn't work
* Room was very warm (it being a heatwave) and there were no fans available.
Only had one night here and had booked it as something different from soulless new places.
The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Great breakfast and service.
The rooms are clean and tidy and what you would expect from an Inn dating back to 1681.
The whole place is quirky and steeped in history - lots of stairs up so only come if you are ok with that.
The restaurant for breakfast could have done with a deep clean but that didn’t spoil our stay.
Fantastic location right in the heart of Whitby. Very good breakfast.
