I would highly recommend the Caladh hotel in Stornoway.
I have now stayed here 4 times over the last 12 months on business trips. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are comfortable and the food is delicious.
Good buffet breakfast although fairly pricey
Close to ferry for the late arrival and parking was no problem
Very confusing corridor with poor signage for rooms and exit

Superlative friendly helpful welcome by reception. Room were big bathroomas large and very clean. Pleasently surprise as I expected a truckers stop from building spearence.. Outwards buildings 60's diwdy appearence is deceiving. Indide it us a bit tired are. Allthings considered when I am in Lewis next its my accomodation of choice. Great VFM

The staff were friendly and efficient and the room was clean. The restaurant menu had plenty of choices and the food was good.
The mattress was rather soft but the bed was comfortable nevertheless.

Single room overpriced for what it was - tiny and stuffy. Room rate slashed by over 50% once booked and paid on non-refundable offer.
Staff were terrific, helpful and friendly
The room was dated and whilst everything worked it was very tired. Flat pillows which were very old. Cheap bedding and soft mattress.
We got the early ferry which meant we could only get a few uncooked things for breakfast
