Very overpriced
Pros:

Reception staff pleasant. Location good - near ferry terminal.

Cons:

Very overpriced. Our room looked out onto a block wall. Windows didn't open far enough to cool the room down. The restaurant was like a works canteen. Our meal - a jambalaya- was mediocre at best

Schönes Hotel, liebevoll eingerichtet mit Harris Tweed. Möglichkeiten für Frühstück und Abendessen vorhanden. Zentrale Lage, nahe dem Hafen. Städtchen gut zu Fuß zu erobern.

Cons:

I was offered a windowless room. Another guest was kind enough to change with me. The young girl on the desk and the manager weren't helpful. I've stayed there 6 times over the last 8 years for work. Niver been given a, windowless room before.

Fine fellows
Pros:

Had to slum it in here as my usual 5* fare was fully booked out for the season, blooming tourists! The rooms are fairly basic and rather small, especially for a gent of my measure. However, it would be ungentlemanly of me not to mention that the staff were very friendly and accomodating, and the large lad breakfast buffet had me singing hallelujah!

Pleasant enough
Pros:

Room is small and pretty expensive for what you get. It was a work trip so not too bad but I'd be disappointed if I was paying as a holiday maker

Perfect 10/10
Pros:

We’ve stayed many times and it’s perfect. Lovely Hebridean welcome at reception, we travelled with our pet dog and the room was ideal, clean and roomy with well appointed welcome tea tray. Great location from the ferry and easy access to the town centre, faultless as always, look forward to visiting the Caladh again!

Pros:

Staff and food was excellent and the room and restaurant were clean

Cons:

The residents lounge was unfriendly and seemed forgotten plus the noise from the kitchen extractor was at times unbearable making it unpleasant, there was another lounge with a bar but not in use resulting in retiring to the bedroom

Ok for a couple of nights
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and staff very good. I felt it was drab - dining room and bar a bit like a canteen and dull bedrooms. Food was fine.

Nicht Buchen!
Pros:

Gute Lage für Fähre früh morgens oder spät abends. Das ist aber wirklich das einzig positive. Ich rate von Buchungen ab.

Cons:

Kein Fenster und keine Belüftungsmöglichkeit (von klimaanlage ganz zu schweigen) also keine möglichkeit frische Luft ins Zimmer zu bekommen. Davon steht in den Beschreibungen beim Buchen nichts! Trotzdessen kommt aber Lärm von draußen sehr penetrant ins Zimmer, also nachts sehr laut. Im Zimmer ist generell alles staubig, wasserkocher so verschmutzt, dass nicht nutzbar. Für diese Verfehlungen ist der Preis absolut unangemessen und lässt viel mehr erwarten.
