The staff were very friendly, we didn’t not get the name of the lady who checked us in but she was amazing. She went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. Also the breakfast was lovely and a very good variety available. So thank you so much!!
Nothing!
Central in town with good parking. Great sized room with great shower and bath. Friendly welcoming and accommodating staff. Great job to all staff.
Our room was internal and only had a sky light which we couldn’t open, room was a little to hot for me and my partner, radiator was turned down but couldn’t switch off, and no window to vent that heat out, it was pretty stuffy.
We stayed there for three nights during the very unseasonably hot weather. It was very hot at night due to the kitchen ventilation duct being outside the window. The staff tried very hard to help with a fan which helped a bit. On the last night the manager was able to open the window fully and had the kitchen ventilation stopped as early as possible. This made a big difference.
The room itself was comfortable although the furnishings were a little tired. The bed was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good.
The outstanding part of the stay was the staff who could not have been more friendly and helpful.
Location is perfect, short walk into town, great atmosphere in the place, rooms are immaculate and comfortable , tea & coffee, it’s a well maintained hotel, quiet area especially for the rooms to the back. Restaurant is buffet, you won’t get better food anywhere.
Plenty free parking around the hotel.
Receptionist was very welcoming on arrival, as was all the staff we came across. It’s not our first time in this hotel, we will be back.
We booked a 2 course buffet dinner for 40 people and I cannot speak highly enough of the team that evening. Nothing was a problem and the service was excellent. Big shout out to Kevin and Amy
Convenient location for the ferry.
Windowless room, unattractive cafeteria
The staff were very helpful. The manager put my motorcycle inside to keep it safe. All the amenities were excellent including the power shower.
Bed was so comfortable and all bedding was perfect.
Nothing. Can't fault this accommodation. Really close to the ferry terminal.
The Staff here made the whole experience truly wonderful. Ros, Shannon, Katy, Abigail and Leanne all proved exemplary in their hosting and Customer Service skills, listening carefully and making adaptations as needed. The food served for breakfast and evening meal was absolutely delicious, hats off to the chefs and kitchen staff too!
Reception staff really nice
Bedding and sheets felt cheap

We would like to say a big thanks to all at Caladh Inn for making us so welcome and settled . Across for a short stay to visit family , they kindly accommodated us and our little dog in a wonderfully spacious great value twin room. All amenities that were needed and lovely Harris Tweed decor, our room for July was so warm and cosy ,the day temps were very nice for Lewis , windows were wide open but a great sleep was had. Weirdly Lewis has less seagulls than where we are , so so no noise from them , it was very peaceful even for been close to the town centre.
Just round the corner from the ferry terminal , it is a great location to quickly arrive at and settle in with great parking provided. The restaurant and bar / breakfast room are very well provisioned with really ,really great food (the fresh Lewis air will boost that appetite) and all staff attend to your needs very efficiently and politely that makes it a pleasant atmosphere to be in , a really great group that makes you feel part of their family.
And your dog is welcome to join you everywhere, just remember to tidy up after them, there is a grass zone in the parking bay , but be responsible if you do take a dog not to ruin it for others, by being ignorant to the generosity of the hosts at the Caladh Inn , allowing you to take you furry friend on trips with you.
Don't abuse it and then lose it.
There are appropriate bins across from the carpark to dispose of such things.
To all at the Caladh Inn
Ceud mile taing.
TINY room, with only a few small drawers for storage, NO hanging space whatsoever, not even a hook to hang a jacket, and no floor space for luggage either. How anyone could cope in this room for more than one night, and with anything more than a very small bag, I have no idea. Why would anyone design a newish hotel with rooms this small? The architect should be made to spend a week in the room ...and this room was not cheap. And the pillows were cheap and hard...
Staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant was fairly good for dinner and buffet breakfast.
