Customer service atrocious
Pros:

Nothing

Cons:

I booked because of a flight cancellation. 1 hour later I needed to cancel as flight cancellation was a mistake. Caladh would not refund me £180 I paid. This spoilt the rest of my holiday. I will probably not use Booking. Com again.

Pros:

Location, old pub feeling, good food, relaxed feel, short work to the beach restaurant and bar, close to the lighthouse

Cons:

Perfekt beliggende hotell i sentrum
Pros:

Beliggenheten var helt perfekt nær havnen og sentrum av byen. Restaurant i bygget som serverte god lunsj. Veldig hyggelig og hjelpsomt personale.

Cons:

Jeg fikk et annet rom enn det jeg hadde bestilt. Rommet hadde kun badekar. Vanntrykket var svært dårlig, så det tok 15 min. å fylle opp karet. Den elektriske håndkletørkeren som var montert på badet var i stykker. Kun de to nederste rillene ble varme. Det var noe støy fra et vifteanlegg utenfor vinduet, ellers var rommet stille.

Caladh Hotel Stornoway - Excellent Choice!
Pros:

I would highly recommend the Caladh hotel in Stornoway.
I have now stayed here 4 times over the last 12 months on business trips. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are comfortable and the food is delicious.

Pros:

Superlative friendly helpful welcome by reception. Room were big bathroomas large and very clean. Pleasently surprise as I expected a truckers stop from building spearence.. Outwards buildings 60's diwdy appearence is deceiving. Indide it us a bit tired are. Allthings considered when I am in Lewis next its my accomodation of choice. Great VFM

Tired decore and a bit care worn. Building us horrible but mist are in that part of town.

Handy for an overnight stay
Pros:

Good buffet breakfast although fairly pricey
Close to ferry for the late arrival and parking was no problem

Cons:

Very confusing corridor with poor signage for rooms and exit
Breakfast although good was expensive
Room size nit great but ok for single person in the double room and bathroom small
Absolutely no view from window was looking at other side of hotel

The hotel was adequate for my needs.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and efficient and the room was clean. The restaurant menu had plenty of choices and the food was good.

Cons:

The mattress was rather soft but the bed was comfortable nevertheless.
