Pros:

Die Lage war sehr gut, ruhig. Ein guter Pub qar gleich um die Ecke. Das Frühstück war lecker. Der Service war zuvorkommend. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten.

Cons:

Das Essen im hauseigenen Pub. Es ist Verbesserungswürdig.

Plenty of character but just needs a bit of TLC!
Pros:

The location is lovely and the property has plenty of character.
The breakfast was fantastic

Cons:

The hotel is a little ‘tired’ with some areas needing attention.
Whilst we appreciate the room rate reflects this some things in our room (Aldaniti) could be updated very easily.
The headboard really needs a good clean as do the curtains!

Quiet with good and responsive staff, unfortunately let down by overly hard mattress.
Pros:

Quiet room, good staff service, garden quiet and well laid out, ease of car parking

Cons:

Hard mattress very uncomfortable, very soft pillows, shower OK but could have been a bit more powerful. Unfortunately only decaf teabags in room.

Enjoyed our stay and will stay again in the future.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good, there was a variety of breakfasts to meet all food differences. The staff wer friendly. The food was hot when given. Very very nice.

Cons:

We did come a little late and the only food available was a roast dinner. This was a little too much to go to bed on, and a snack would have been better if it had been available.

Good location in interesting South Downs village
Pros:

Great location for the South Downs Way. Nicely refurbished room.

Cons:

We stayed on a Sunday and there wasn't much choice in the restaurant.

Lovely break
Pros:

Great hotel, perfect location for the South Downs way. We completed Amberley to Housedean farm sections from here with friends and dogs. Staff very friendly and welcoming, lovely food.

Peaceful, country style hotel very lovely , special.
Pros:

A charming stay with a traditional, old-fashioned feel, complemented by modern amenities. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of cooked options, from a full English to poached eggs on toast with lovely fresh bread. Set in beautiful English countryside, it made for a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Good choice of tv channels and working WiFi !
Easily a 10/10.

Cons:

No complaints at all. We had a genuinely lovely stay.
