Pros:

The young lady on Reception and in the restaurant and she was everywhere-basically was left to run the place-however she was so polite and friendly-thank u..u made the stay enjoyable.

Cons:

There was quite a bit of movement upstairs late at nite and unfortunately there were no cocktails on offer plus some other items on the menu.

Period property with character.
Pros:

Friendly staff, good location, massive bathroom, excellent value for money, good choice at breakfast.

Cons:

Chestnut room floor slanted considerably which meant bed not level and very noticeable when trying to sleep. Extremely noisy guest arrival at 11.30 and again at 12.30 including loud conversation by night porter.

Nice country feel hotel close to the city. Great staff.
Pros:

Pretty much everything. Great hotel.

Cons:

No food available outwith short specific times, I was working a schedule that did not match the hotels. 0950, breakfast was done and dusted for example.

Reluctant to return unless a complete overhaul of the fixtures, fitting and decor is undertaken.
Pros:

Location.

Cons:

Cleanliness, rooms carried sound, noisy neighbours. Breakfast selection was fewer than previous trip. Few moths in the room. Looked and felt scruffy.

Would return if in the area again
Pros:

Lovely spacious apartment, very light and airy. Nice views over the garden and surrounding area.
Comfortable bed.
Lots of storage and hanging space.
Well equipped kitchen, comfy sofa.
Good breakfast.
Free parking on site.
Beautiful grounds.
Great location for events at the Glasshouse.

Cons:

No door on the en-suite in the twin room, which could be a problem if more than two people in the flat.
Hot water is slightly temperamental in the bath (the shower is electric in the other bathroom so no problem with that).
