Just lovely, will be back!
Pros:

Lovely relaxing hotel with lots of old world charm but well maintained. Friendly staff and I loved the music (both a live singer on arrival, then background music) playing downstairs, added atmosphere but wasn’t at all noisy.

Cons:

My only slight gripe is only a blind, no curtains in my room. In the summer mo the that definitely makes for an early bright wake up.

Mini Break.
Pros:

The breakfast

Cons:

The room was far too hot. As they are the old type of sash window, which were painted shut! I asked for a fan, which I did receive, but it was still very hot. We'd already moved rooms, as the TV in the first room didn't work. Which the girl behind the reception desk was aware of. So why wasn't this fixed before letting the room again. The rooms themselves are a little tired. But I appreciate that the upkeep on this type of property must be huge. The first evening we ate in their restaurant, I had a burger, which was mediocre, husband had a garden pie, which seemed to consist of peas and carrots. Not great value for money. The best thing was the breakfast. I had a fully cooked breakfast the first morning, and eggs benidict for the next two mornings, these were all very well cooked.

Priced as a budget hotel, but offers so much more.

Almost good, just needs a few tweaks
Pros:

Lovely large room, good private location and safe parking, friendly staff. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Very very noisy and long running fan in bathroom, 20 minutes after turning off light it was still going.
Mirrors too far away or gloomy to apply make up.
Very tatty roman blinds.
Buffet part of breakfast very poor.

The young lady on Reception and in the restaurant and she was everywhere-basically was left to run the place-however she was so polite and friendly-thank u..u made the stay enjoyable.

Cons:
