Astoria is consistent and reliable with their service standards.
Pros:

The set up is really very good as there is a lot of space to move around in the one bedroom suite, Breakfast that goes with the package is also very good. The rooms are clean and if you need anything, your needs are attended to immediately.

The hotel staff are also accommodating and very attentive and very friendly.

Cons:

It may just be a minor thing which the staff actually resolved immediately, but I wished they had informed booking.com of renovation work. We were only informed upon check in. But when we riased our concern they told us if we are bothered by the noise we could call them them and they will ask the workers to stop. When it happend we called and the noise stopped immediately and the front desk was also kind enough to check with us again. I think that's excellent service

Very good value
Pros:

The hotel is in a central area, not far from the Shangrilla Mall.
The rooms are huge and very comfortable.
The breakfast is one of the best I had abroad.
Staff are all very kind and helpful.

Cons:

Although the air-conditioning is strong, it is very old and omits a bad odour to the room.

Loved our stay from the amenities to the breakfast. Will book again here!
Pros:

I love the amenities of the rooms especially the aircondition worked well during our stay. i especially loved the breakfast buffet. i would say it was the highlight of our 1 night stay.

Cons:

the lobby was very small to accomodate the many guest during check in and check out

Staff were amazingly helpful.
Pros:

The staff were incredible. Josh at the front desk and the two staff assisting with our Merci Creative conference.
They went above and beyond consistently to enhance our experience.

Pros:

I like the suite with kitchen and living room. Really like the food at the buffet.

Cons:

The bathroom in our suite didn't match the suite as it has really small sink. There's no place to even put toiletries or towels. There's no AC in the hallway and gets hot while waiting for elevator. Elevators slow. Lines form because it slow and backs up.

the elevator guy was friendly.

Cons:

the staff during check-in tried to get a deposit. I agreed using my credit card, however, she said that the refund or reimbursement will not be obtained on check-out but 10-15 days after -> I did not agree to this arrangement. Then she said I will get it on check-out if I pay my deposit via Cash. Again, I did not agree to this. I told her that other hotels also ask for deposit but the reimbursement or refund is given during check-out even if my deposit was paid through credit card. Eventually, after talking to somebody else (her superior?) - they allowed me to check-in without a deposit. So my check-in time was so long because of the above -> it took more than 30 minutes to check-in. Except for this incidence during check-in, the rest of the stay was ok.

The hotel staff, service, breakfast, rooms are nice. Close to Megamall and Shangri-La mall. The buffet breakfast is really good and highly recommend.

The wait for elevators abs hallways felt like there's no AC.
