Pros:

The location was good on the property - it was in a good area for what we wanted.

Cons:

When we arrived to the property, it was dirty & untidy - it hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guest (despite letting them know on our check-in information we would be arriving for check-in time at 3:30pm). The bed was awful, hair and stains all over the bedding, dirty towels all over the bathroom, dirty sink, dirty carpet and a lot of rubbish left in the room. The room itself was shabby, holes behind the bed they had tried to hide, holes behind & around the toilet which they’d also tried to hide with the bin. Mould around the shower, which was in itself, absolutely tiny.
We had to battle our way through an automated AI system to speak to an actual human, who then sent a young 18 year old to clean our room. She arrived, clearly overworked and kept making excuses as to why she didn’t clean the room.
We were told to leave the room so they could clean, meaning we weren’t able to attend pre-made plans as we had to hang around the area waiting to see if we could get back into our room and, if it would be clean. Given the hotel knew what time we would be arriving (3:30pm, which was check-in time), there was no excuse to have this room sorted and cleaned. Had we of arrived later, I genuinely have no idea how we would have gotten in touch and had the room sorted as there is no reception team working inside the hotel, you never see anyone!
We were offered £30 refund, which for the uncleanliness of the room, price we paid (over £700 for 3 nights) was insulting. I’ve now raised this directly with booking.com & will hopefully get this rectified. I’ve added photos of what we walked into - it’s not pleasant!

Pros:

Great location and price. The room is not massive but perfect for a weekend

Cons:

The building is very silent, although you could hear the people outside in the corridor as the door is not very sound excluding

Fantastic property close to all amenities & staff on hand to help out with any needs.
Pros:

It was so close to the gig we were going to which was fantastic! It was quiet considering how close we were to the venue which was brilliant.

Cons:

We had a fan but maybe air conditioning would be good but understandably while we were there the weather was amazing which it could possibly have been different! But really we coped with the fan!
