Staff were great,very helpful overall a good experience

Colourful retro place! We found out there was a pool there too, though we didn’t use it. The breakfast room was a bar - charming surroundings to eat a wonderful hot and tasty breakfast.

Everything lovely family run hotel , very accommodating and lovely and clean

Arrived at 12 couldn’t get in room till 2pm so decided to walk down the hill to the harbour had a few drinks walked back up the hill room was ready . Lovely room nice and clean . Under the hotel is a bar called the griffin you can gain access from the side of hotel . The bar has bands at weekend from 4 till 6pm fantastic bands . Then walk into harbour /town where a lot of the pubs have live bands.

The location was perfect for town and local attractions.
The staff were all very friendly. Good on-site parking.

Excellent location near the Harbour . Free on site parking which is a big bonus in Torquay . Only 5 mins walk to the harbour but longer coming back as it’s all uphill . Bar in site which is nice to chill out side with a drink in the nice weather . The room was very clean good size and the bathroom was a good size with plenty of room in the shower and room not long tastefully decorated looks very nice . Mini fridge in the room which is a big bonus for me . Also room had a sofa so had somewhere to chill . Nice view from the window of the pool and sea . Had a very lovely stay .

Lovely hotel and the staff were lovely and welcoming. The glass of prosecco on arrival was a lovely gesture. The room was lovely and clean. Overall a great place to stay

Location to the harbour and restaurants is very good. Owner very friendly as are the other staff. Breakfast is very good. Rooms and facilities are adequate for a short stay. Inclusive parking is a great addition.

Here at the moment, very friendly hotel in perfect location approx 5 min walk to Torquay harbour (up a hill). Griffin bar downstairs with live music every Saturday and sunday. Very clean room with really comfy bed and pillows, very soft towels. Small drinks fridge and kettle. Exceptional value for money. Tasty cocktails with cheap offer every day at all times inc weekends. Free pool table. No food after breakfast but the bar allows takeaways to be brought in. Outdoor pool is heated.
Some areas of hotel could do with a bit of updating but this has not affected our stay in anyway.
Hotel and bar do allow dogs, there are accessible rooms available but most rooms are up some stairs.
Fantastic stay so far, highly recommend.

What a hotel loved every bit of it the pool was lovely clean the sun loungers around the pool was a added bonus nothing was to much trouble for the owner and staff the town was just a little walk away so great location the bar on site had free pool and darts entertainment every Saturday and Sunday really enjoyed my stay will definitely stay again as already thinking of booking for next year thanks few days husband loved the pool and free freshly brewed coffee was also a bonus

The location was good a little uphill. There is a bus stop across the road , it's so easy to get out and about if you didn't have a car..
There is a small fridge which is very handy to keep cold drinks in.

Bijzonder vriendelijke en behulpzame mensen. Uitstekende locatie vlakbij centrum (weel steeds een flinke wandeling de berg op). Gratis parkeren.

Amazing!!! Beautifully presented, clean modern and beautifully decorated. Kitchen area was nice.
