Its set in beautiful grounds
The decore is a bit tired but they are doing renovations so it will be a nice place when completed
Location and grounds are beautiful. Room was very clean and comfortable and very good price.
Lack of plug sockets next to the bed for phone charging and medical devices.
Bathroom could do with some minor work, sink looked quite old/scratched and the towel rail was missing.
Could do with curtains as well as the window blind as the blind does not keep the sunlight out.
No bar or restaurant.
We left after 15 minutes
The room was shabby, the ensuite was nothing more than a broom cupboard. Had to park on a grassed areas and not in the carpark due to a function taking place and told we could park in the carpark after 11pm when the function finished, no disabled parking. Staff if there was any where to busy with the function , so we just left the key on reception as we left
We stayed at this hotel for a wedding yesterday the saff and the wedding venue were exceptional.
I normal do video reviews online. But didn't really have a chance due to the wedding. But the staff made this a wonderful day...

Mattress, and washroom ABIT out dated.
The grounds
Room was dirty and decor scruffy.Bed collapsed and I suffered a head injury due to this.Ultimatly I had to go home and couldn't stay.No food was served and zero takeaway menus .Dirty heroine spoon was also found in the room.
That it was clean and quiet
Nobody about on reception, if you had to go out to your car the front door locks , maybe a key for the front door as well as the room or key pad number would be a good idea?

Location is beautiful. Amazing views. Great for dogs and walks. Staff are very friendly apart from the owner. Darren and Zoe are lovely and work very hard.
Overpriced. Poor Wi-Fi. Owner is not friendly and treats his staff poorly. He doesn’t like dogs. Outside needs attention and tidying. They have an infestation of ladybirds breeding and laying eggs in the woodwork of the bedroom windows. All the guests complained but they are in denial. One girl had to go to hospital due to eggs in her head and hair. She had been living there for months.
The bathroom, the bed was comfy , clean towels and bed linen
On arrival we were told they were doing alterations so ok . But our room smelt of cigarettes, and it's like it was in the carpet because I couldn't get rid of it by spraying my perfume 🙁, no mirror in the room, but one in bathroom, nowhere to hang clothes .
The property was ok
Two members of staff were very pushy and kept banging my door late at night when I was trying to get my boy to sleep and being very pushy I felt very volnerable and unsafe being on my own with a little one
Beautiful property in a lovely location, I was staying for a wedding and it was so convenient. The people working there were so friendly and welcoming and the room was really well presented.
The place was great, the staff where amazing, really helpful, great grounds, been able to have pets was great, would definitely stay again, and will next year. Big thanks to the care takers couldn't have made or stay any easier

Shower wasn't on wall right capets not cleaned but was a lovely sleep on bedside light didn't work
