Verder was het echt een super leuk verblijf.
Pros:

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! Het personeel was ontzettend vriendelijk en zorgde ervoor dat we ons meteen welkom voelden.

De rondleiding over het schip was echt een hoogtepunt. De kapiteins vertelden met zoveel passie over het varen, het leven aan boord en de rijke geschiedenis van het schip. Hun enthousiasme werkte aanstekelijk en je werd helemaal meegenomen in hun verhalen. Het voelde alsof je even terug in de tijd stapte, alsof je in een echte tijdcapsule terecht was gekomen.

Een unieke en bijzondere ervaring die we iedereen kunnen aanraden. We komen zeker nog eens terug!

Cons:

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad, maar de schoonmaak van de kamer kon beter. Zo lag er nog een chipsdekseltje onder het dekbed, het knopje van het nachtlampje naast het bed was vies en onder de tv lag behoorlijk wat stof.

Met wat extra aandacht voor de schoonmaak zou de ervaring nog een stuk beter zijn.

Disappointed.
Pros:

I'm glad the ship is being preserved. Check in was pretty easy and the reception staff with pleasant. The room was fine, but keep in mind this is an old ship, not a modern hotel.

Cons:

The location is very remote. Whether you go by shuttle to the metro, water taxi or a very expensive Uber ride, it's not easy to get to any other amenities while you on board. Hotel guests only have access to the rooms, a bar and a restaurant. If you want to see anything else, it's a extra charge and only open between 10-5. You can't even go outside on the deck. Frankly, it felt like a fire trap when everything was locked up for the night. The former public rooms on the tour appeared mostly empty of furniture and lifeless. The halls were dirty with disgusting stains on the carpet. The staff in the restaurant and bar were inattentive and slow. I sat at the bar for quite a while the lone bartender filled backed-up orders. I finally gave up and walked out. Basically, the SS Rotterdam is a just an old, tourist class hotel in a bad location.

Pros:

La chambre correspondait à mes attentes, c'était propre,le personnel très gentil, j'ai eu un soucis avec le parking et il m'a offert une nuit de parking en dédommagement

Cons:

Le prix du parking est exorbitant 22euros la nuit, pas facile si on ne parle pas bien le néerlandais ou l anglais

Fijn verblijf
Pros:

Nostalgische omgeving. En het uitzicht op de kade.

Cons:

Dat de nachtlampjes precies in t midden en laag boven beide slaap plekken zijn gemonteerd. Dus als wij rechtop zaten in bed om tv te willen kijken kwam de onderkant van de lamp tegen bovenkant hoofd.
En dat er geen raam open kon voor frisse lucht.
Niet prettig.
