My grand ladies live in Clovis. Perfect location! I’ll be back!
Pros:

Location was excellent, staff were sweet and attentive, the room was very quiet and comfortable. The shower was great! I didn’t have one but the cookies in the evening were such a beautiful touch. I told my husband who lives for cookies, he was jealous.

Cons:

There was no hot water out and available. I've been staying at Fairfield in different areas for the last several years because they always have water available and usually also have hot water for my tea at night. This location did not have hot water out or teas

Comfortable stay
Pros:

We were tired and had researched many hotels. Finally we decided to try this one. I am not happy until I inspect the room so I was so pleased that this room was clean and bug-free. The a/c worked very well.
The breakfast in the am was very nice too, lots of choices. The staff were polite and helpful especially the lady who handled the breakfast. The pool and jacuzzi were small but still I regret not bringing my swimsuit to go in. I liked where the hotel was located because it's not close to the main boulevard and had trees with a bike trail behind it. We will definitely stay there again.

Terrible, inflexible service at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fresno Clovis
Pros:

Arrived after regular office hours for a government rate stay that I’ve used successfully at Marriott properties many times before. I showed my government-issued ID and regular ID as usual. The manager on duty refused to check us in without a formal work order.
Because it was after hours, there was no one from our office available to immediately send over proof that we were there for work. The hotel then expected us to connect our work computers to their unsecured WiFi network, which directly violates our company’s IT security policy. They also demanded we show internal company emails to the front desk — something we are strictly not allowed to do.
Zero flexibility, zero understanding of business traveler needs, and completely unprofessional. Corporate customer service later backed the manager instead of resolving anything. As a 15-year Bonvoy member, this experience has me seriously considering canceling my account entirely. Avoid this property.

Cons:

The room was 82 degrees when I checked in. It never cooled down even with the AC on for hours. The bed was as hard as a rock and I couldn't even sleep. Very uncomfortable. Rooms are Tiny.

Sleepless Night

Cons:

When checking-in I was told I have the last room available, fantastic. What they failed to tell me is this room is located next to a Utility room that has a generator the runs all night, with a loud humming noise that is unbearable to fall asleep. The next morning while checking out and voicing my concerns, I was told sorry for inconvenience and was offered a discount. As I do appreciate the offer, but not much help after experiencing a sleepless night. I would have appreciated more with being told the annoying conditions prior to checking-in, there are plenty of hotels in the area to choose from.
