اقامة جميله ومكان مريح وموقع روعة
Location and room were excellent.
Hotel amenities were limited, a relatively small lounge area. A basic restaurant and bar. No coffee shop. You could not sit outside the bar with the drink only, without ordering food.
الموقع جميل ومريح
Love the location!. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Drainage issues with bathroom sink and shower.
No refrigerator or mini bar.
We were upgraded to a suite, so the extra space was great but it was a strange layout. View was over the street. My mother's room down the corridor had a beautiful view of the harbor.
Guess it was because it was around graduation time, but the additional taxes over and above the stated room rate were shocking. My room, which had a rate that was quoted at around $450.00, ended up over $610.00. There was at least an additional $125.00 in added taxes, many of which appeared to be added by the facility and not the state.
I found our experience to be un-relaxing and memorable for being the loudest hotel room we have ever stayed in. The music from the party in the restaurant/bar below our room made the room too loud for my wife and I to hold a conservation. We had to leave our room and the hotel to relax until the party was over and try to get to sleep. Unfortunately, the party is never over until the ambulance arrives.
Our stay at the Boston Warf Hotel was the lone negative experience during our trip to Boston for the World Cup. Instead of sharing stories of how wonderful our trip was, we have a new "Worst Hotel Experience" story to share as well.
Meals are not included with a basic single queen stay. You have to request a fridge and or microwave. Parking is an extra 60.$ Per night. You can park free on street. Hotel is clean. I felt very safe. Location is central to all the activities.
No pool, no hot tub. A wish list, not a deal breaker. I would have appreciated the cost of parking be included on the website. I felt it was a little steep. Microwaves and mini fridges aren't standard and it's not posted.
Great location! Close to Faneuil Hall. The view is wonderful and the facility was spotless. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Aldin , your front desk personnel at check-in, was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. I stay in Boston a couple of times each year yet this is the first time at The Battery Wharf Hotel. It is now our go-to stay. An absolute hidden gem. Thank you.
Everything. The staff is wonderful. The location is the best. The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are nice and the beds are so comfortable.
Everything was perfect.
To start with the positive:
The front desk manager (I think her name was Michaela V) was very pleasant and helpful. Her recommendation for cannoli at modern pastry was delicious.
Location: great location in Boston North end.
The double access closets, access accessible for both the room, and the bathroom was cool
Presence of a clean and working water kettle is appreciated
Not so positive:
Handicapped room, in somewhat disrepair
Sliding shower door to bathroom, in the partially closed, stuck position. Appears to be a maintenance problem because the door jams on the carpet. Not sure how a handicap person would navigate this. This is a barn door style door and needs to be cleaned at the bottom so it doesn’t stick.
The layout of the bathroom, results in soaking the toilet and everything else in the bathroom. There is no shower curtain. There are two conveniently placed floor drains that are higher than the rest of the floor. Meaning that none of the water goes down the drains unless you squeegee it over there using a towel. Installation problem, usually one puts the drains at the low point to the water runs down hill ( gravity thing)
Espresso machine is a plus, but the generic pods taste awful
Lighting in the room is poor. The wall sconces look like they’re set up for a much larger bed and too low wattage and too far from the bed to support actual reading.
The bathroom sink looked like someone had trim their hair in it. It’s kind of gross to see that when you come into a room.
There were sticky rings left on the desktop surface, it’s really not my job to have to go get a towel and clean off the desktop in order to use it
Limited and very difficult to access electrical outlets. I had to move furniture and unplug things like the clock in order to have a outlet to charge my phone. Very annoying for a non-handicap person, even worse for the handicap person who is intended user of this room.
The room was very noisy with motors going on and off all night
Blackout curtains were partially ripped and not attached to the track
The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable
There are many other hotels in the vicinity.
The beautiful of the harbor is what really sold us! The hotel is so close to everything and the staff is very friendly. Check out service is also really quick and simple. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!!
