Great food,friendly staff
The breakfast was lovely
The room was tired, there was no shower curtain and the water hammer was so noisy every time the toilet cistern was filling up
Location, nothing else
Bathroom ceiling boarded up, mouldy, clicking noise, shower no pressure, not warm, shower gel didn't work. Cooked breakfast only available between 10am and 11am. What use is that for people that leave for work?
Perfect location & exceptional food, staff are awsome and packed is a breakfast to go as well we’re leaving early
Nothing not to like
Friendliness

Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable room with tea making facilities. Good food.
I understand it's probably down to cost but shower gel and shampoo would be good
A warm welcome. A great place to stay especially as James was competing over the weekend on a site just ten minutes away. The room was very clean and warm. Comfortable beds
An airing cupboard in the family room was a godsend as we were outside all day in hail snow wind and rain.
The food was delightful ! Recommend the specials menu ! Haggis fritters were divine ! As were the mussels and fish pie.
Large car park.
Friends joined us for supper on Saturday night and commented on the friendly service and good food.
James Rebecca and Lisa went way over and beyond to meet our needs
Highly recommend . Would definitely stay again should we be competing locally again next year !
The staff were so kind and helpful. The rooms were warm and cosy with a little coffee station. Fresh towels, hairdryer, extra blankets. Our room had a kids bedroom with a bunk bed that was kitted out with toys, books and dvds. The maid forgot to leave spoons and waters in our rooms so the chef dealt with it immediately and gave us complimentary desserts with our meal. He is by far the best chef in miles. Its not a busy place but doesn't affect the food quality, its is exceptional 👌 Definitely going back.
The beds are a bit uncomfortable because you can feel springs digging in and the shower wasn't very powerful. The water temperature was temperamental but they had a sign explaining this could happen due to the age of the building.
Nice and relaxing
Quiet
