Für uns war es perfekt! In direkter Fußnähe zum Strand und zu den Spazierwegen an den Klippen.
Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Willkommensgruß aus der Küche. Obst stand immer bereit, Kaffee im Zimmer verfügbar.

Alles sehr alt und nicht richtig in Stand gehalten,
Unerträgliche Temperaturen im sehr kleinen Zimmer (30 Grad Außentemperatur haben sich im Vergleich super angenehm angefühlt)
Great Hotel, loved it closeness to the gorgeous unspoilt beach and coast path. Especially appreciated was the helpful friendly staff and the lovely warm welcome arriving after a long hot day travelling. Home made cake in the bedroom was also a lovely touch. And then walking down for a swim and watch the sunset. Rooms were very comfortable and nicely refurbished. Thank you all for a really enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.
Everything was really great
The staff were amazing. Couldn’t do enough for you.
The room was small and very hot. The bathroom had a lot of dirt on shower screen bottom and bottom corner outside bath.

Great quiet location and short walk to the beach.

Hotel appears a bit tired. The outside has a lot of flaking paintwork. Would be an amazing looking place if freshened up. Public toilets by bar, the urinals looked very poor, and with patched up paintwork around them too. Looks poor standard. Also, paintwork in bathroom looking tatty on skirtings and flaking on walls. Carpet in room past best.

The staff were attentive and professional. Breakfast one of the best we have had.
It was a little tired in places. Our room was very hot overnight.
So many things could have been better. Shower not clean, cheap white sliced bread, frozen spinach at breakfast. We asked to move to an empty table in the restaurant where we weren’t looking at a wall- told no as tables were booked. They stayed empty the whole time. Stark lighting in lounge area, no cushions on outdoor furniture, weeds everywhere all lacking tlc. The staff were v pleasant but the whole place lacks soul
Interesting setting not far from the beach. Good food. Enjoyed the evening meal in the Admiral's Restaurant although having to choose dishes ahead is a little tiresome. Nice terrace for pre-dinner drinks. Fortunately there was a fan in the room but it was still very warm.
Hotel buildings and environs a little tired. Although heatwave was predicted nothing had been done to cool the room down (it was facing south -west!) ahead of our arrival (e.g. closing curtains, putting fan on)
The management should consider installing a window blind as well as curtains to keep the room cooler when the weather is warm. Staff generally pleasant and helpful.
