Tiny shower and sink which has a shelf inches above taps so almost impossible to wash teeth/shave. No soap- only a half used bottle of shower gel/shampoo in shower. Felt like a basement room as there was a huge wall inches beyond the glass door. No window

Happy with my accommodation in Gateway Hotel
Pros:

The Gateway Hotel is situated near shops and excellent public transport . The room was big and airy and had everything that you needed, including everyday housekeeping.
Overall I was pleased with my stay, and will come again.

Cons:

The toilet seat was wobbly, and the stool as well, one of the sockets did not work, couldn't put my charger in.
The radiator was next to the kettle and had some stains that were not nice to see.
The carpet was very old.
The road noise was very annoying, couldn't sleep much.

Compensa para 2 noches máximo.
Pros:

Metro a 2 minutos andando, la parada se ve desde la puerta del hotel. En 15 minutos aprox estás en el centro. También tiene al lado 3 supermercados diferentes, una gasolinera, restaurantes.
Las camas, aunque de 135 cms, bastante cómodas.
Té, café y chocolate soluble cada día en la habitación.
Pequeña nevera disponible (cuidado que hace hielo)

Cons:

Aunque las camas son cómodas, el descanso se dificulta mucho por el enorme ruido que viene de la calle. Hay un bar al lado y si es fin de semana parece que tienes la fiesta en la habitación. Te dejan tapones en la mesilla.
En verano a las 4:30 a.m ya amanece. Recomiendo llevar antifaz para dormir si te molesta la luz, porque aquí entra y mucho.
Baños muy pequeños y rudimentarios. La ducha apenas echaba agua.
Todo podría estar algo más limpio.
Reforma necesaria.
A pesar de eso, el precio es bastante bueno para lo que hay en Londres, y el metro está prácticamente al lado.

Das Einbettzimmer ist genug groß, sauber und für die Gegend relativ ruhig. Im Zimmer befindet sich Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher. Personal im Hotel ist sehr hilfsbereit. 3 Gehminuten zum Bus oder U-Bahn. Viele Geschäfte, Kaffeehäuser und Restaurants in der Nähe.

I had an allergic reaction when staying there. Unsure if the sheets were unwashed but my skin has become inflamed. There was no front desk so I was unable to contact anyone regarding this in the moment.
