Lovely overnight stay in a quiet pretty village.
Pros:

Comfortable room, lovely friendly staff, nice ambience in the pub. Very helpful to me with dietary requirements. Situated in a beautiful quiet village yet close to access to A34.

Cons:

Nothing negative at all.

Fabulous
Pros:

The accommodation was exceptionally pleasant. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The room was well-appointed with high-quality bedding and linen. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, the pub has a very good rating for their food as well. The breakfast was also excellent.

Cosy pub
Pros:

Cosy pub with good food. Only provide 'breakfast basket' albeit we were early departures anyway.
'Cabin' was very clean with very comfortable bed. Quiet.

Spirit of hospitality in a lovely location.
Pros:

Great food at dinner and fantastic breakfasts.
Complimentary water and hot drinks with biscuits provided. Safe parking.
All requests were dealt with promptly and positively by very friendly staff. Our room (Lambourn) was spacious and very well equipped. Lovely, luxurious toiletries.
Despite sleeping with the window open, it was very quiet. We slept well in a large, comfortable bed.

Cons:

Nothing - exceeded expectations.

Wonderful stay at the greyhound
Pros:

We were welcomed at check-in and shown to our room . There was one flight of stairs for us. The room was very clean. The ensuite is very clean. The bed was very comfortable

The breakfasts are top-notch. I am vegetarian, and the choices were amazing. The butter been with pesto, and whipped cream cheese on sour dough was amazing. The atmosphere in the bar I found welcoming.
Can't wait to stay again

Cons:

The only thing I would have liked would be a mirror above the desk and a plug socket to do my makeup and hair. I used the batheoom mirror but would have preffered to sit down to do it.

Looking Forward To Our Next Visit
Pros:

Historic building, sympathetically renovated to make a very comfortable pub with rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere in bar area and excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner menu options using locally-sourced ingredients. Ample parking space in off-street car park.
