The decor inside the hotel was nice, the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very standard for the cost of the hotel.
The bedroom walls are very, very thin , so that you could plainly hear conversations in the next room, someone coughing woke us at 2am in the morning. The “large” bathroom towel was the size of a medium towel, only useful for drying hair!!! One towel was very worn and even had a hole, which was treated with disdain and dismissed without an apology by the man on reception. Finally we were locked out of the hotel at 11:45pm, so not late. We should have been given a key card to use the front entrance to the hotel, instead we were given a key card to the rear which was locked, we should have been informed of this when checking in.
Friendly comfortable and pool was great!
Everything was good
Location , typical UK seaside hotel.
Nothing
Lovely welcome at reception. Tasty breakfast, hot plates and good variety of choice.
No fridge to keep water as it was quite hot
The swimming pool, staff and the food.
It looked nice .
The location and the pictures made it looked better on the website and not great value for money
Location good. Able to park there although limited spaces
Breakfast - There was a good choice -hot and cold.
Breakfast - Although arrived an hour before end of session we had to wait for a table to be cleaned and laid. Even so we had to ask for items that should be automatic - teaspoons and milk for the coffee.
Room - Very disappointing considering was supposed to be in a deluxe room! When I booked I sent a message and then followed up with a phone call asking if the room was suitable for someone with limited mobility and I was assured that a 'deluxe room' would meet my needs and although on the first floor there was a lift
However, on arrival in said room , the corridor outside was so narrow I could not use my scooter to get to the room and had to rely on my walker but this was really too far to walk.
Inside the room, which was very small, my walker would not go through the narrow door making access to the bathroom an issue. The toilet was far too low and NOT SUITABLT AT ALL for someone with limited mobility issues. There were no grab rails by the toilet that would have helped.
The walk in shower had a step to negotiate, again with no grab rail. It was very small and I didn't feel safe in there. If I'd fallen I would have been stuck. A holder for shampoo etc would be useful .
The info says sockets by the bed - these are behind the bed and not readily accessible - which was a problem as my husband uses a CPAP machine so not an accurate description.
Very tired decor compared to accommodation downstairs.
No signage outside the building showing where disabled access was. Heavy door to open which I had to manage on several occasions on my own which was difficult. Needs a push button access to allow door to open automatically.
I do not think a 'deluxe room' should be considered an alternative to disabled facilities nor why this room was considered to be 'deluxe'.
The suite was clean and comfortable
Breakfast ok good location
Night porter arrogant and rude after I had to get out of bed, dressed and go down to the function room to ask for the music machine to be turned off at 11-30 pm.
No problem with the live singer finishing at 11pm as there was a coach trip residing!
His reply the music stays on until the last person leaves was outrageous !
No joy with the manager next morning as blasa as the arrogant night porter !
Seems if you get allocated 1st floor over the function room tough luck you ain't getting sleep till midnight.
Shame, rest off staff brilliant reception really helpful just tarnished what could have been a really nice stay !
Oh restrictions for the pool have to book maximum 5 at a time so didn't bother and shower in the room no pressure

Our room was very good & spacious with a lovely big bed & the location was also very good with bus stops virtually right outside the hotel.
We booked a meal at the hotel on our first night but were a bit disappointed to find that we were treated like one of the guests from a coach tour that had arrived, we had no idea that the hotel had regular coaches arriving on tour. We expected a personal service when having our meal, as we weren’t part of the coach tour, although when asking for drinks service we were told that they would eventually get round to us! The breakfasts weren’t the best & the carpet in the restaurant really needs replacing.
