We would definitely stay again
Pros:

The hotel was really well run by the staff and the meals were very good

Cons:

Not your fault but the next room had telly blasting for both nights stay

We enjoyed our stay & would be again as it’s great value.
Pros:

Cons:

No lift to our floor 5 our floor smelt musty. Also could hear every creaky footstep from the room above. We did ask for the leaky shower head and lights to be sorted .which didnt happen

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable room, lots of comfortable chars for reading.
Pros:

Lovely, obliging staff. Plenty of comfortable chairs, settees. Entertainment at night.

Cons:

We should have booked a room in the front half of the hotel only because at 81 it was a long walk plus stairs to our room. This is not the hotels fault. A couple of reading lamps behind chairs would be good for those of us who can’t put a book down.

A nice hotel with excellent staff and we loved the breakfast.
Pros:

Lovely breakfast, with fried bread on one of the mornings. All well cooked and hot. Service excellent, tables cleared well. Comfortable bed, reasonable sized shower. As we requested there were no stairs to negotiate and we were near the lift.

Cons:

Unfortunately there was a damp musty smell in our room which meant we had to keep the window open, even this did not eleminate it. In fairness we should have reported this on arrival and requested a change of room immediately, however I would be surprised if the hotel are not aware of the issue already. We did mention it on leaving so hopefully it will be dealt with before the next occupants.

Good food, lovely hotel, Brilliant staff. Who could ask for more!
Pros:

Dining room was excellent. Food was very good with good choice. Staff and service were terrific.

Cons:

Car parking very limited, to be able to park close by was not easy.

Kite festival visit
Pros:

They were helpful with a problem I had. Unfortunately boiler was broken so pool was cold, but the jacuzzi was good. Very good breakfast choice. Dinner - very good menu and food was lovely
