Pros:

It’s a beautiful building / location. The room was clean. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

The breakfast was disappointing. I felt for what you are paying for a standard double room (£280 per night) the breakfast offering could have been better. Everything was dry and over cooked and there was limited options.

Pros:

Great location. Bedroom was fresh and clean. Bathroom sparkling. Parking area was roomy, safe and easy on site.

Cons:

I like a small fridge in hotel rooms, none here. Restaurant prices seemed gouging.

Lovely location & staff, bed not comfortable.
Pros:

very friendly staff, nice hot shower

Cons:

The bed was so uncomfy, it was so soft like a marshmallow and we both slept terribly. Whilst the shower was hot and clean, it constantly filled with water that didn’t drain so you were stood in your dirty water. For £225 a night I’d expect a comfy bed.

Lovely hotel and we would certainly return if we were in the area.
Pros:

The sense of history, central location and attitude of the staff were excellent, as was the dinner.

Cons:

Crossing the main road in front of the hotel could be tricky in the morning and there was no pavement to safely walk down to the formal pedestrian crossing.

Hobbit Room
Pros:

Nice staff and service

Cons:

The indication that the suite we stayed in was not fit for tall people was a complete understatement. The only place we could stand upright was the bathroom. The stairs leading to the room are dangerous on a good day for fit people.

A charming and convenient stay with great food and a characterful setting
Pros:

The hotel is in an excellent location, just off the main street. True to its name, it is indeed a manor-style hotel, and the rooms complement the character of Corfe Castle beautifully. I tried both the dinner and the breakfast, and both were delicious. The hotel also offers luggage storage, which is very convenient for independent travellers.
