Pros:

Friendly staff, yummy breakfast and lots of it.

Cons:

The stairs were very narrow for my partner who has mobility issues, however the staff moved us to a room closer to the ground floor which was very cool.

I assume all room keys are identical, which is not pleasant, as the key to my room is the same as the one for the hotel entrance after 11pm

Great Location and Great Staff
Pros:

Staff very friendly and helpful. They had only been in posession of the hotel for a couple of months but were obviously intent on improving many aspects of the rooms and building as a whole. They have the right attitude and I wish them continued success. A good example was at breakfast. The bananas had all gone when we arrived and when I asked if there were any more one of the staff went round to the Sainsbury's local and bought some there and then ! Oh, and it's in a great central location, right next to the Marlowe theatre, ideal for exploring the city on foot.

Cons:

The only thing I mentioned to improve the stay in the room was to have more possibilities to store things in the ensuite. It is difficult as the space is limited but a couple of hooks on the wall to go along with the towel radiator would make a big difference. It's an old hotel so possibilities are limited.

Bardzo ładnie urządzone wnętrze zarówno hallu jak i pokoju. W stylu nowoczesnym, ale jednocześnie pasującym do starego budynku. W pokoju wszystkie wygody: czajnik, kawa, herbata, gniazdka do naładowania telefonu, ładna łazienka, wiatrak w pokoju.

Cons:

Dystrybutor mydła w łazience usytuowany tak, że mydło ścieka po ścianie na podłogę. Za mała umywalka, myjąc twarz uderza się głową w półkę.

the location

claustrophobic room, needed to be a contortionist to not hit ones head on diagonal ceiling window and on opening the wardrobe door, it fell off and hit the lady ! as there was no top hinge. I'd be better off telling the hotel about this, as they, like other hotels do, could compensate us with a night in a decent room....

Goede locat
Pros:

Goede locatie midden in het centrum. De auto kan voor een gereduceerd tarief van 17pond per dag geparkeerd worden op een openbare parkeerplaats op n kleine 10 lopen door een mooi stadspark. Voor uit- en inladen mag de auto even voor het hotel staan.
Bij aankomst was de kamer erg warm maar we hadden meteen een ventilator gekregen dus dat was erg fijn.

Cons:

Het hotel heeft wat tlc nodig. Afbladerende verf bij de kozijnen. Losse tegels in de badkamer, weinig waterdruk bij het douchen etc.

La stanza sotto tetto con caratteristiche travi a vista
La colazione inclusa (seppur solo fredda)

La moquette presente ovunque.
