There are very few holidays where we’ve reached the end and genuinely wished we could stay longer, but this was definitely one of them.

We arrived very late at night after our transfer, so waking up the following morning and properly discovering the hotel for the first time was such a lovely surprise. The hotel is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean and in a fantastic location right on the beach. Just remember to pack beach shoes as it’s a pebble beach.

One of the first things that took our breath away was the view. Looking out across the Aegean Sea towards Turkey, the sunsets were simply spectacular. Every evening felt different, and we never got tired of watching them. If you’re eating in the main buffet restaurant, I’d definitely recommend booking dinner for around 8.00-8.15pm, as watching the sun set over the sea while you eat is something we’ll remember for a very long time.

One of my biggest concerns before travelling was that I’m coeliac. Choosing an all-inclusive holiday can feel quite daunting when you have to trust other people with your food, but I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Every day the restaurant staff took the time to show me around the buffet, explain what was suitable and offer to prepare food separately if I preferred. I could order fresh gluten-free toast at breakfast, along with pancakes and pasta throughout our stay, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. More importantly, I never felt like a nuisance. The care, knowledge and reassurance they gave me meant I could genuinely relax and enjoy my holiday, which is something that’s sadly quite rare.

The food itself was excellent. There was plenty of variety every day, everything tasted fresh and the quality was far better than we’ve experienced at many all-inclusive resorts. The drinks were equally impressive, with great cocktails and good quality spirits included.

We also tried several of the speciality restaurants during our stay. The Greek and Italian restaurants were both excellent, with the Italian being our favourite. The children’s portions were huge and the quality of the food was fantastic. On our final evening we treated ourselves to Lobster Night, which we thought was excellent value for the quality of the food, and the live entertainment made it a really special way to end our holiday.

One thing that wasn’t completely clear when booking was that the Mediterranean Restaurant is included as part of the all-inclusive package for lunch but not for dinner. We accidentally turned up expecting our evening meal to be included before realising our mistake, so we headed back to the buffet instead. It certainly didn’t spoil our evening, but it’s worth knowing in advance as it wasn’t immediately obvious to us when booking.

What really made the holiday, though, was the staff. Every single person we encountered, from the restaurant and bar teams to housekeeping and reception, was genuinely friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping our room spotless every day, and the cleanliness across the whole hotel was exceptional. They were also brilliant with our children, making them feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

We stayed in one of the bungalows (Room 3102), which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The bed and pillows were excellent, and our children both slept really well on the sofa beds. The bathroom was spacious, with twin sinks making it easy for all four of us to get ready. When we first arrived, I was a little worried about a low humming noise outside, which I think came from an air conditioning unit, but after the first night we barely noticed it. The whole resort is immaculately maintained and beautifully landscaped, and there’s also a handy on-site shop with reasonably priced gifts and essentials.

Our children absolutely loved the kids’ club. It runs two sessions each day with different activities. Our 10-year-old was convinced she wouldn’t enjoy it but ended up asking to go back, while our 6-year-old thought it was the best thing ever. One memorable evenings entertainment was in the rooftop bar with an incredible duo singing and getting guests up and dancing.

The pool areas were lovely, although it’s worth knowing that sunbeds are in high demand. We found that if you arrived after around 9.15-9.30am, particularly at the main downstairs pool, it was much harder to find somewhere to sit. There are signs saying towels left before 9.30am may be removed, although we didn’t personally see this being enforced. We spent most of our time at the rooftop pool, which felt much more relaxed and spacious, and we were usually able to find sunbeds there after breakfast.

The hotel was also a brilliant base for exploring Rhodes. Reception arranged a taxi into Rhodes Town for just €15, making it really easy to visit independently one evening. We also booked the Jet2 historic tour of the Old Town, which was fascinating, and a transfer to Lindos, which made for another fantastic evening out.

Overall, we honestly couldn’t fault our stay. The hotel is beautiful, the food is excellent, the staff are exceptional and the level of care shown, particularly around my coeliac disease, was something I’ll never forget.

Thank you to everyone who made our holiday so special. We left feeling relaxed, incredibly well looked after and already talking about when we can come back. It’s one of those rare holidays where, when it came time to leave, we simply didn’t want to go.

Excellent experience wonderful staff

La struttura ha carattere e dimensioni di un hotel internazionale, con i suoi pro e i suoi contro. Abbiamo apprezzato la cucina varia e l'abbondanza delle pietanze, in particolare a colazione, e il personale di sala molto disponibile. La camera dove abbiamo pernottato era adeguata allo standard dell'hotel, con un letto matrimoniale ampio e un secondo letto per nostro figlio adeguato. La TV presente in camera prende anche alcuni canali italiani e molti internazionali. Abbiamo trovato molto comodo il parcheggio riservato dell'hotel; per chi prende a noleggio la macchina, c'è la possibilità di affittare auto e scooter poiché c'è un addetto dell'agenzia in corrispondenza dell'ingresso. Ho utilizzato spesso la palestra, che è abbastanza fornita di pesi e attrezzature per il fitness.

Overall, we had a lovely stay and there were plenty of positives.

The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout, and the food was very good with a good variety. The app provided on arrival made it really easy to book the restaurants, which was a nice touch. The location is excellent—close to the airport and Rhodes Old Town, making it easy to explore. The views from the restaurant and bar were beautiful, and the spa was a relaxing way to unwind.
The main disappointment was the all-inclusive package. There is a bar and restaurant (dinner) that aren't included, and even within the à la carte restaurants and main bar, there are separate menus with a number of meals and drinks that require a charge. I hadn't seen this mentioned in any other reviews, and if I'd known beforehand, I would probably have chosen a different hotel. We've previously stayed at all-inclusive hotels in Crete and Corfu where everything was genuinely included, so this came as an unexpected surprise.
Another downside was the sunbeds around the pool. They were usually all reserved with towels by the end of breakfast, making it difficult to find anywhere to sit later in the morning. It would be great if the hotel enforced a policy to discourage reserving sunbeds for long periods without using them.

Despite these points, we enjoyed our stay thanks to the cleanliness, good food, relaxing spa, and convenient location. Just be aware of what's included in the all-inclusive package before you book.

My wife and I have just returned from a 10 day stay in Ixia Rhodes. We stayed at the wonderful Amus Hotel & Spa and stayed in the Elite Suites. Daria who is the manager of the suites is the most wonderful person you could wish to meet and her team of Lia and Chrysi are a credit to her. The staff and facilities are exceptional and anyone visiting this hotel will not be disappointed in any way. Everything about it is exceptional. I cannot speak to highly of the team and special shout out to Manus who also looked after our every need. We cannot wait to go back asap. Many thanks again to all concerned.

Very relaxing and comfortable, enjoyed every bit of it

We arrived quite late after a flight delay, but managed to find a supermarket that was still open to get food and drinks (we had stayed B&B) Reception did tell us we could order room service 24/7 but the option to do so on the app was blocked.

We had booked a forest view room. This was on the east side and although there was a few trees, we also had fire escapes and a loud air con system. The air con in the room was also stuck on 23, cool but not quite cool enough for us. The room was also quite small for us as a couple with a teenage daughter. We didn’t complain as we only needed the room to sleep and shower in. However the next day, reception phoned us and upgraded us to a larger room with a sea view 💕
Aircon was perfect, we had a good view and the room seemed slightly larger.
The cleaning staff here are very attentive and we had clean sheets and towels daily. The whole hotel is spotless
Shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, a kettle with tea and coffee facilities were provided in the room.
We had 2 large wardrobes with around 8 hangers in each wardrobe. Storage for our suitcases was a bit tight, but we moved around them ok.

Due to peak season, the hotel became very busy during our stay. The first few days we did not have problem finding a sunbed on the 11th floor pool. There are signs to say reserved beds after 9.30am will have towels removed, but we did not see any enforcement of this. Some guests had reserved their sunbeds from around 8/8.30am and didn’t actually show up until 12/12.30pm which I thought was unfair for others trying to find a spot.
We had a “Karen” next to us on our last day. I had been on a sunbed since 9am and the 3 beds next to me had towels reserving their place. This family rocked up around 12.30pm. The lady instantly started to complain loudly that they had reserved 4 beds and 2 umbrellas which had been removed. She complained to the lifeguard but this was out of his control. You can’t expect to reserve beds and not show up until midday, others needed the umbrellas so they’d been taken.
I feel sunbeds reservations can be a pain all over in Europe, it’d be nice to see some hotels enforcing reservation rules

The pool on the 11th floor was very clean, it became busier around 2pm (I think this is when kids club had finished)
We did not use the main pool downstairs as it looked very busy. The adults only pool looked peaceful, but we had our 15 year old daughter with us, so we were unable to access this.

We only opted for breakfast - good selection and the waiting staff are very friendly. Gorgeous view of the sea each morning. Waitress Efe was very attentive, smiley and helpful.
We ate at the Italian on the 11th floor one night. A reservation was needed and you can only book 2 nights ahead, which was easy enough to do through the app. Food was amazing, there was also a cool breeze on the rooftop on an evening, which was lovely.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. Turn left out of the hotel and they are all a short walk. Coconut and Romeo were our favourite, no reservation needed for either.

We hired a car - the company is based inside the hotel (galaxy cars) We had a polo for 3 days. My partner was a little anxious about driving on a different side of the road, but Greek drivers are quite patient and he grasped it quite easily. We went to Lindos (about a 70 minute drive) and Faliraki (about 25min drive)
Get to Lindos early as it becomes very busy from 11/12 onwards. It also feels a lot hotter the more south you go!
Faliraki - we went to the beach. Water sports are reasonably priced.
Rhodes old town - beautiful and easy to get lost around!

Before hiring a car, we tried taxis. You need to order from reception way in advance. We waited an hour on our first day and in the end we cancelled and booked through uber which came within 15 minutes, but Uber is very expensive, it cost 36€ to get to Rhodes town which is a 5/10 minute drive away. It made much more sense to hire a car. Most places we went to also had free parking.

We did not use the beach outside the hotel as it was very pebbly, even to try and paddle in, so beach shoes would be needed, but we are more pool people, so this did not bother us.

We did an excursion to Marmaris for the day through Jet2. We were picked up from just outside the hotel around 7.40am, we were taken to the ferry port and it was around a 70 minute ferry journey to Marmaris. We had chance to explore the town (which is very small) we walked through the bazaars which were very quiet, but this also made us a target for the shop owners do hassle us to go in and buy things. I understand this is how it works in Turkey, but we found it a bit much due to how quiet it was. The “genuine” fakes did not seem as good quality as other places I have seen on previous turkey trips. We had done everything we needed to there within 80 minutes and then had to hang around in a shop which the tour guide set as a meeting point, where we felt like we had to buy something. Personally I would not do this trip again. The ferry port coming back into Rhodes was very busy and we had to wait a long time to get through security, we did not get back to the hotel until 7.30pm

We were being picked up at 7.30pm for our flight home, but we needed to be checked out by 12. There is an option to extend the room, but we found it quite expensive compared to other places we have stayed in. There are no showers or change rooms however if you do choose to stay at the hotel until pick up time, but we could put our luggage in an unlocked area near to reception.

Overall - we were impressed with the hotel. I feel the staff make it 5 star, but I have stayed in better rooms and all inclusive for less of the price we paid to stay here. We did enquire about upgrading to all inclusive but this would have been 65€ each per day. The staff are very attentive and everywhere is very clean.
It would’ve been nice to have somewhere to shower and change due to our late pick up time though.
The hotel was full of uk visitors so we were catered to well, but I usually like the feel of being away from England when on holiday 😂 not the hotels fault, but I thought I’d mention it incase anyone is like myself

Stayed in early July. Lovely hotel great staff and good food. Downside we had a forest view room on the east side. What they don’t tell you is along with the forest view you get a lovely view of a massive fire escape stairs and constant noise from what must be the air con plant.

Booked holiday for my folks. I believe, they liked everything. The food was fabulous. Location is great. Staff were attentive and friendly.

The hotel is beautiful staff cannot do enough for you we stayed bed and breakfast and the breakfast was good lots to choose from and everything very clean
Our only criticism is it's set up for all inclusive and if you pay as you go like we did you wait a while to be served and to pay, they don't exicute the sun longer policy around the pools if your not down before eight in the morning you're not getting one we sat and watched towels on beds empty from 9 in the morning till we left at 2 and so many people wanted beds.
In summary -
* If not all inclusive then it can be costly in the hotel (€6 for a small beer) and the bars and restaurants are reasonably to mid price range, except to pay €40 plus for food and a drink for two people
* Shop around with the supermarkets as they do vary
* If going into Old Rhodes then don't use a bar or restaurant without prices
* Overall a good hotel and good standards
