The Mercure at St Leonard’s is located about a 5-10 minute walk to Royal North Shore Hospital and about a 15 min walk from St Leonard’s station.

Cons:

If you have poor mobility or fitness it might be a challenge to walk the steady incline from St Leonard’s station to the Mercure.

Great location for last minute emergency.
Pros:

Had an emergency with my 19 year old son, this was the closest place to RNSH and I got there late and stayed 2 nights. Was nice knowing that if he needed me, I could be there walking in 10 minutes. Gave me a lot of relief knowing he wasn't alone.

Cons:

Lights in room are very bright, and the property is dated, but that didn't matter to me given what I was going through. Staff were lovely, accomodating and helpful.

Convenient and comfortable.
Pros:

I ate at the restaurant several times (breakfast, dinner) - very good. Helpful staff and good facilities. I liked being able to get fresh air (sliding door to little balcony).

Cons:

Soundproofing could be better. I would have liked to be able to lock the sliding door open and have flywire, so I could comfortably leave it open when I was asleep or out.
