Good location
Miscommunication between front desk and breakfast staff which meant that we were out of pocket even though we’d prebooked. No immediate “oh, I’m so sorry, and here is your refund “, and we were made to feel like we’d made the mistake (which, of course, we hadn’t). Just a small issue, but it has left a mark.
Excellent location! Very clean and great breakfast
Great location, comfortable, full service hotel with delicious breakfast and full bar. Great location in the middle of Galway and yet, very quiet. Terrific value.
The room was small, but quite comfortable and pleasant.
The breakfast was good and varied.
The location was very central.
The staff was helpful and attentive.
To be honest, for €200+/night, I would have expected a much higher standard, but maybe that's just Galway for you.
You can park at the nearby train station car park for a lot cheaper than the hotel's "discounted" parking garage (€7.50/24h vs €20).
Top Lage!
The location was the main draw for us, with plenty of space inside to sit and enjoy a drink or, in our case, a boardgame.
Set-down was a bit stressful as parking the car outside the hotel, even temporarily, will block larger tourist buses trying to turn the corner.

Location
No air conditioner
Very clean
No parking at hotel or very close by. No place to park car just to drop luggage before driving to the public parking garage. No AC in room so had to open window bc very hot but the noise from outside was outrageous. People screaming and fighting and the hotel did nothing to stop it. The food in the restaurant was terrible and overpriced. The service in the restaurant was good but the food was lousy.
Location was perfect for exploring the town
Breakfast options didn’t match what was shown at the time of booking but this didn’t really matter as we planned to find breakfast in town anyway
