Pros:

Pros:

Decor, location, ease of entering the building as no keys required to get into the hotel. Bar was really nice and offers on for food. Complimentary water and toiletries was nice.

Cons:

Room was very warm, made it a little hard to sleep. I would have been happy to keep my towels for second night and not change them.

Pros:

Cons:

Hygiëne en datering van de kamers. Heeft echt een opknapbeurt nodig. Restaurant is wel nieuw en netjes. Ontbijt was karig (plakje ham of zalm, niet eens kaas)

Great location and clean, new facilities. Get the room with an atrium!
Pros:

Beautiful lobby, and we were placed in a room with a sweet, small, atrium that extended over the entrace and looked down two streets - great place for an Irish Whiskey. Really close to all the action in Galway, but also not in the loud part of town.

Cons:

Shower didn't have the best water pressure, but it was a VERY nice and new bathroom. Not a deal killer at all though.

Pros:

The Victoria Hotel was a very short walk from the train station - no need for a car at all. It's just down the street from Eyre Square so close enough for restaurants, pubs but without all the noise. There was a building under construction next door and we heard a little noise in the morning from that, but honestly nothing that bothered us or even woke us.

The room was wonderful - very comfortable and larger than expected. The bed was very comfortable with USB outlets and regular outlets above each night stand. The shower was very roomy (as a plus size traveler I was comfortable in it) and was a walk in - but strangely there was a tiny step to get in the bathroom itself which tripped us up a few times.
Double sinks were very nice!

The elevator is a large elevator by European standards - my husband and I were able to fit in it with our luggage with other people as well.

The restaurant was very lovely decor wise. We sat in there and waited for rides, etc a few times. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try the food but the staff was lovely in getting us drinks. Luggage storage saved us!

We would definitely stay here again - it was a perfect location and lovely space to stay in.

Cons:

As a plus size traveler I'm always looking for larger towels - this place had normal sized hotel towels which worked but would've been nice as an option at least.

Water pressure in the shower could've been better too but it's adequate and was probably affected by the construction next door to be honest.
