Good location, good price.
Looks were deceptive outside looks tired and run down but inside was acceptable.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Air con not working, only given one doorcard
Only one towel for a double room.
Asked for another towel and extra pillows and staff brought to room within 15ins of asking
Room was ok
Breakfast was very nice
We park on-site
Very big room, nice and clean
TV did not work, and there was a complete lack of toiletries.
The hotel was in a perfect location, easy to check in, the staff were polite and helpful and the room was clean nd spacious and had the bare essentials which included ironing board and iron and hair dryer kettle and bare minimum tea tray, shower had good pressure and bathroom was clean, there was also a heater for cold weather and fan for hot weather
The coffee and tea tray in room was bare minimum so if wanted more than one coffee each would have needed to ask for more, also same with the toilet rolls did not get topped up for second night, only one pillow per person but am sure if asked they would have supplied more, breakfast was ok but again ran out of butter and sugar but supplied us at table with more when asked
Location
Some improvements to exterior building required
Parking is based on first come first to park, the car park only fits five car's if they all park right.
CAR PARK, we could not use the car par because it was full, so we parked in town after 6pm because it free from saturday to monday.
Friendly staff , large room, bed was clean
Very tired decor, stained curtains, shower unusable as leaked more than came out of the shower head
Good Location, comfy bed good room size
Ordered at 6.15 and paid for a meal from the QR code, waited 45 mins then went down to find out about my meal, chap said no order has come through and no payment either, but he said he would sort my meal anyway and bring it to my room which he did at 7.15, and the meal was very tasty.
Lovely very nice place
Needed a night away from house sorting, great location right in the centre of town, had a good night out visiting several pubs with live music, a good sleep and delicious breakfast, will stay again
Nothing
Nothing, the place was a run down hotel that looked more like a dodgy pub converted into a brothel.
No air conditioning even though it said air conditioning.
No fans in absence of air conditioning
Coffee tasted like dirt
Breakfast was tiny, 1 rasher of bacon, 1 sausage, 1 egg, 1 hash brown, a tablespoon of beans and a tablespoon of soggy mushrooms.
The bedroom is dated and faced a busy train line with trains constantly going past.
The bathroom stank of mould and sweat, absolutely awful.
The air con in the 2 rooms that we tried was useless. In the first room the air con fan was so noisy it sounded like a car alarm. In the second room it was a little quieter but there was no cooling effect. Clearly the air con system above the ground floor has not been serviced or repaired for some time. The staff were not surprised when this was reported. The ceramic floor tiles in the bathroom were loose on the floor and quite dangerous for small children and the glass door scraped on the floor. The breakfast was very basic. No gluten free bread available. On the third day no alternative milk was available. Three of us are dairy free. A failed delivery was the excuse given. The hotel is in the centre of town. How difficult would it have been for them to pop to a shop? Although the staff were polite this does not make up for management that don't care about their customers and are quite happy to advertise accommodation that should be under renovation.
It was easy to get too
