Excellent location and wonderful hotel.
Große helle Räume/Suite mit schönem Hafenblick, für die Nacht komplett abdunkelbar. Leise Klimaanlage. Gute breite Betten. Prima Dusche. Gutes Restaurant „Trio“, in dem es auch Frühstück á la Carte gibt. Eggs Benedict und Continental Breakfast sind beide sehr empfehlenswert.

La beauté de la suite, la vue, l'emplacement. Cet établissement offre un petit plus pour notre chien: biscuits, couverture et bols sont dans la chambre à notre arrivée. C'est rare et grandement apprécié.
La chambre n'était pas prête à notre arrivée tardive mais le parking nous a été offert en compensation et le personnel était très gentil.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were served with a nice smile. All the questions we had were answered. So to us it was excellent.

We had a wonderful stay at The Simon Hotel while celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. The hotel was spotless, comfortable, and in a perfect location right on the Sydney waterfront. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were especially touched by the thoughtful anniversary treat waiting in our room—it was such a kind gesture that made our celebration even more special. We highly recommend The Simon Hotel and look forward to staying here again!
We really liked the Simon Hotel. The room was large and clean. Good elevator (which is not always the case in hotels).
What we did not like is that breakfast was not included and they charged us an extra $15 to park there. The only place on our 19 day vacation where we had to pay for parking. The price was a little steep for not having an included breakfast, which was $56 for the two of us in the hotel (tax & tip included).
The first room was pumping out heat out of the air conditioner so it was hotter in the room than it was outside. The girl from the front desk came up and couldn’t handle the heat and started sweating immediately. The room also had two fans in the closet so clearly they knew the ac was bad. The water pressure in the shower was also barely usable so we changed rooms. Second room ac worked but water pressure although better was still sub par. We were going to spend 3 nights here but only stayed 1 night and cancelled the other 2 nights. Also furniture was not comfortable.

The long wait.. We could not wait despite asking the waiter a few times. The kitchen staff were too slow and seemed to be annoyed at the waiter for asking for the food. Especially since the restaurant was not that full, hence left to make our tour commitments…
