Rooms & hotel are very old. Toilet smell, kettle not even working. Bed sheet, towel everything need to change! Overpriced

Wished there was more on site but you get what you pay for here. Great price but thats as you pay for the room and get nothing else. No breakfast, meals only a small bar. Note there's also no laundrette, gym, swimming pool etc.

We booked this hotel through Booking.com and we were charged £196 per night, for a basic family room ( a couple and 3 year old) and the experience fell far below even basic expectations.

The room we were offered had a bathroom tap that didn’t work, and, even more concerning, the bed linen had clearly not been changed after the previous guests. There was sand in the bed, and we even found jewellery on the bed under the duvet left behind by whoever had stayed there before. This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the hotel’s hygiene standards. BTW they told me that the prepaid room rate was none refundable and that they didn’t have any other rooms available for me for the night.

The carpets throughout the room were visibly dirty, stained, and looked as though they hadn’t been properly cleaned for a long time. The bathroom also felt dated, with the bathtub making creaking noises every time you stepped into it, the tap not working and giving the impression that it was unstable and in need of replacement.

Despite the high room rate, there was no air conditioning and no in-room telephone or intercom, meaning you have to walk to reception whenever you need assistance. For a hotel charging nearly £200 a night, these are basic amenities that should be expected.

When I reported the dirty bed linen to reception, the staff looked confused. There was no apology for the fact that the bed had not been properly prepared between guests. One member of staff did come to our room reluctantly and replace the bedding after saying he would speak to the manager and the housekeeping team, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, after the bedding was changed, we discovered a hair extension/wig under the table, further highlighting the poor standard of housekeeping.

Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. The lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, missing amenities, and indifferent customer service made it feel extremely poor value for money.

Outdated expensive for what it was no mention of taking a deposit which was refundable but wouldn’t mind if it was worth the stay

No A/C room had no window to open wide and get some fresh air.

Gave my registration at check-in but have received multiple parking charges since in the post. It is advertised as free parking and was not told that I need to do anything other than provide my registration.

I first arrived to my room at 4pm after arriving at 11am to wait for my room to be clean and ready for me. I then found it had not been cleaned, including the bedsheets and bathroom. There was urine and pubic hairs on the toilet seat and on the floor. More hairs around the bathtub and sink and hairs under the duvet and on the pillows and yellow stains. There was blood on the carpet and it was generally unclean. I then brought it up with the staff, especially the hotel manager Sara who was rude and dismissive about it. After I complained they reluctantly gave me a new room which was also very unclean. The hotel reception smelled like dope and when I arrived back after 11pm there was lots of ‘dodgy’ people waiting around the carpark and hotel entrance for people to let them in, once in they were all gathering around the reception area.

I don’t like the idea of “deposit for a room”. However, it was refunded the same day

Mijn geboekte kamer was niet goedkoop. Toen ik binnenkwam zaten de hoofdborden van beide twin bedden los en scheef. Eén bed wankelde heel erg en stond niet stabiel en kon je eigenlijk niet op slapen. Er zat een scheur in het bad waar je je aan kunt verwonden. De doucheslang van de douchekop was erg kort waardoor deze niet hoog komt, maar daarnaast was de knop om de douchekop vast te zetten stuk, waardoor deze heel erg laag was. De slang zat niet goed vast aan de kraan, waardoor het water opzij sproeide en ik deze zelf heb dichtgedraaid. De (bad-)kamer was in zijn algeheel niet erg schoon. En dit allemaal van een hotel wat borg inhoudt "voor als er iets stuk gaat".
