Cleanliness
8.7
Multiple reviews explicitly praise cleanliness (rooms, public areas, private beach); one French review mentioned rooms below expectations for cleanliness, so generally clean but with isolated negative notes.
Service
9.7
Staff repeatedly described as friendly, smiling and very helpful (upgrades, complimentary meals/transport, attentive reception and concierge); only minor negative about spa staff persistently trying to sell products.
Location
9
Frequently praised: excellent location next to a pleasant (pebbly) private beach and easy transfer to Rhodes town; convenient access to bus stops and local attractions.
Room Quality
7.5
Private-pool rooms described as spacious and excellent, but several comments note the hotel is aging, rooms could use renovation, thin glass separating toilet, issues with AC strength and soundproofing—mixed quality with some clear negatives.
Amenities
8.9
Pools, private beach, spa, bars and a la carte restaurants praised and considered strong points; negatives include a small/disappointing jacuzzi for some, gym described as a basement without ventilation and occasional pushy spa sales tactics.
Value for Money
9.4
Multiple reviewers explicitly state excellent/full value for the price and would recommend; upgrades and included perks reinforced the high value perception.
Food and Beverage
8.6
A la carte restaurants receive strong praise (very tasty); buffet is considered more limited/repetitive by some reviewers; pool bar and included drinks/snacks seen positively.
Overall Experience
8.6
Overall very positive with many strong recommendations and repeat intentions, balanced by a few disappointed reviews noting aging rooms or limited buffet choices.

Cons:

Unfortunately, our stay at The Ixian Grand & All Suites was very disappointing. We expected a relaxing, luxurious 5-star All Inclusive experience, but the reality was far from our expectations.

First of all, we were surprised that both the spa and gym required additional payment, despite the hotel being advertised as All Inclusive.

The food was another major disappointment. The quality and taste were poor, and there was a very unpleasant smell in the restaurants, which made dining uncomfortable.

Another significant issue was the swimming pools. The hotel has no indoor pool, and the outdoor pools were so cold that we couldn’t enjoy swimming at all.

For a hotel of this category and price, we expected much better facilities, food quality, and overall comfort.

Unfortunately, we would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a genuine luxury All Inclusive experience. The experience simply did not justify the price.

Viikko Ixian Grandissa oli rento ja hyvä kokemus.
Pros:

Hieno aula, ystävällinen henkilökunta, helppoa oleskelua ilman rahankäyttöä. Nautimme siitä, että ei ollut lapsia hotellissa.

Cons:

Suihkussa oli pieniä torakoita yksitellen kolme kertaa. Suihkun nurkkasilikoni puuttui ja osa laatan saumoista, sinne ötökät piiloutuivat. Hotelli kaipaa ehostusta esim. alakerran vessoissa. Hotellin ulkopuolella oli epäsiistiä. Vieraille voisi kertoa tarkemmin hotellin ravintolamahdollisuuksista.

One of our best holidays and we will be returning next year.
Pros:

The hotel was was a really good standard overall and more than exceeded our expectations.
All the staff were just the right amount of friendly, and very helpful.
The food couldn't be faulted and the restaurant that has a view of the sea was beautiful with fresh food made to order.
We had a grand suite with private pool which made our holiday extra enjoyable having everything you need to hand.

Cons:

The bathroom/wetroom needs updating. When you have a shower the water doesn't reach the drain in the room and water is all over the floor.
