Hotel break.
Pros:

The lovely hotel. Excellent staff, Dahl who couldnt be more helpful nothing too much for him. Also Ross( the singing chef) whose food was excellent and good value for money as well as Lewis and Alex helping out at breakfast and evening meal times and behind the bar.
Room was great, comfy bed, shower, table and 2 chairs and a magnificent sea view as well as of the gardens.

Cons:

Nothing much really maybe food a bit hotter and more hangers in the wardrobes.

Worthwhile stay!
Pros:

Hotel located outside the centre however there is a bus stop literally across the road for town and just a short distance after the hotel upon return.
Dahl picked my husband up as we were unsure where we were due to our first visit and been guided wrongly as where to get off. Carried our luggage to the room upstairs a we both have a stick giving us the choice to see how we'd manage and offering help up and down if desired.
All staff helpful and friendly, room ( 4) spacious, easy to work shower, table n chairs large wardrobe and shelf space. Absolutely stunning view of both the gardens but moreso the sea.
Sunday Carvery deal at £20 worth every penny plus the 2 courses for £15:or 3 for £19 during the week.
Would most definetely stay again.

Cons:

The food could have been hotter although not a problem for staff to do do as they did for me. May be hot enough for some as i like my food piping hot. The porridge with honey and fruit had only a few pieces so morning 2 asked for more which was given.
Pehaps more coathangers would be a good idea as we only had 3 for the 2 of us.

The staff made a grim stay bearable alongside the delicious porridge for breakfast.
Pros:

The staff- they were welcoming and attentive.

Cons:

The twin room was very ‘tired’ and desperately needed a refurb. The shower was either scalding or ice cold - you couldn’t stand under it. There was only one bedside lamp and the room was cold. Quilts were thin. The room was quite clean - the beds and linen were clean and the towels were thick and fluffy. The sink was very small and on a slant - you couldn’t fill the kettle.
Breakfast - paid extra for - porridge was amazing and good value. Dinner menu was limited, not very appetising and over priced. We did not want cake and coffee as part of the meal deal (£20) and would have rather paid less.

Pros:

A lovely clean room, with a lovely view from the balcony, Del and the staff were great and looked after us well. We said that we would drive out for food, but the breakfast and evening meals were so good, we just stayed there.

Cons:

Nothing, we will definitely be coming back.

Poor hotel
Pros:

The location was convenient as we were visiting family in Burntisland.

Cons:

On arrival the hand basin in the en suite was blocked.

There were several lights in the room that did not work.

When we went to breakfast, there was no chef on the first morning and we were asked if we could wait while the owner did the school run. We then received a call in the evening to see if we wanted breakfast the following day as the owner would have to hire in a chef.

When we returned to the hotel on the first evening at 9pm the bar was shut and in total darkness.

We only ever saw the owner. The hotel appears to being run on shoestring

Pros:

The view is amazing and location is great , wifi is good. Staff were friendly. Little products in bathroom for use.

Cons:

Room needed a good hoover/carpet clean. Stayed a few nights, cups weren't cleaned or bedding or towels replaced after placing tag on door requesting. They only replaced the milk/tea and made the bed but didn't change covers.
Very quiet, bar restaurant and shop seemed closed....no one around apart from 1 on duty person.

Lage des Hotels sehr gut… Austattung und Organisation optimierungsfähig
Cons:

Old Fashioned Charm Across the Firth From Edinburgh
Pros:

We loved the old style ambiance of the Kingswood Hotel. It's rather old fashioned which gives it a certain charm. The rooms were spacious, clean, with a lovely outlook. We dined in the restaurant and had a delicious Indian meal - very tasty sauces.

Cons:

Nothing really
