Very comfortable stay which met all our needs.
Pros:

Great location. Easy walk to shops and some attractions. Breakfast was good with something for everyone without being exceptional.

Cons:

A little bit older style but still very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful.

Pros:

I stayed here because I like old Colonial Hotel and buildings with history. the Hotel is very nice, and it has a certain glamour to it. the buffet is good.

Cons:

I didn't like the shower arrangement in my room, taking a shower standing in a bathtub and the whole bathroom got wet even with the curtain closed, so you always had to clean up the water on the floor.
the Hotel is expensive and compared with other Hotels and apartment in Vietnam, it's hard to justify the cost.

Rooms were big and comfortable! The facilities were good and the breakfast had a wide selection. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and you can even book great guided tours through the hotel!

Cons:

There were some issues with dampness in some of the rooms

A very comfortable stay in an old worldly hotel. Walking distance to many tourist attractions.
Pros:

Location location. Huge comfortable beds. Nice swimming pool and a gym with all the basic equipment. Super friendly staff.

Cons:

Single use plastics in the bathroom.

Pros:

Top location and great sky bar. Large bedroom with excellent shower and wonderful view. Varied breakfast. Truly appreciated card and flowers for 50th wedding anniversary.

I was a bit disappointed this time — the hotel still feels stuck in the past.

Cons:

There was constant noise from workers in the nearby room during official holidays and weekends, which made it difficult to rest. The room also lacked enough electrical outlets for modern needs. The food was quite average, if not below expectations.

My third stay and very different from the first in 1994. However, the hotel has kept much of its colonial charm.
Pros:

Everything, especially the amazing and helpful staff.

Cons:

Pool access was difficult for me with limited mobility. Nevertheless, the staff were on hand to help.

I disagree with the guest and payment card having to be the same name. This caused us issues as my wife and I chose to keep our pre-married names. This is the ONLY hotel we've stayed with such a restrictive policy, out of a great many.
