Stylish but over hyped
Pros:

Comfortable bed and clean room. Great location.

Cons:

No privacy as the huge windows look out on the street unless you close the curtains which makes the room dark.
Both nights the bars were closed before 10pm for a drink and that was one of the main reasons i stayed there
as the bars looked fun. Not good value.

Ok for 1 night only
Pros:

I stayed at Gladstone House for one night. The hotel was fine for a short stay, but it wasn’t really my style. The pink décor, neon touches and overall quirky vibe felt a bit too much for my taste. I also found the lift quite unusual and it added to the feeling that this wasn’t the type of hotel I would normally choose. Room ok but again too pink.

The surrounding area was also disappointing. It didn’t feel particularly clean or appealing, with a lot of graffiti and a general lack of upkeep, which affected the overall impression.

That said, it was perfectly acceptable for one night and served its purpose, but I personally wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay.

Un endroit magique malgré les inconvénients. Merci
Pros:

Localisation, le côté original, décoration, le côté vieillot.
Ambiance, la nourriture déjeuner, le personnel.

Cons:

Cons:

La chambre était très petite.

Cheerful, colourful and fun! We loved it!
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, and a lovely clean room! The whole hotel has such a fun and bright aesthetic and the staff were lovely. We will definitely be back!

Cons:

Slight downfalls were that we didn’t realize our hotel room didn’t have a fridge, and the elevator is staff operated so we often had to wait a little while for someone to be able to access it

Pretty good port in a storm
Pros:

Good location for attending sports events. I slept okay in Queen St facing rooms, but I used ear plugs. Historic building, nice renovation, okay staff. Good neighborhood for restaurants and trendy nightlife. Stayed during a very busy period in Toronto. Rate was fair for that time. When looking at prices, keep in mind that this is a mid-range hotel in terms of level of luxury.
