Good location for attending sports events. I slept okay in Queen St facing rooms, but I used ear plugs. Historic building, nice renovation, okay staff. Good neighborhood for restaurants and trendy nightlife. Stayed during a very busy period in Toronto. Rate was fair for that time. When looking at prices, keep in mind that this is a mid-range hotel in terms of level of luxury.
Traditional old building - the loft was charming. Great location…
On the expensive side without any real perks! Products were basic (no lovely smellies!)
I liked that it was central to where we needed to be. We were there for a show and it was only a 5 minute walk to our venue.
The elevator was very cool!!! Wow!
The price was very high, and if you want a late check out it’s 40$. For the price you pay if you want a late check out it should be allowed.
When we asked for a late check out they said it was good to go, and then called us the next morning at 11:30 asking if we needed help with our bags… I know that’s the kind way to ask people to get out of the room, but we were suppose to be allowed to leave at noon.
beautiful room, excellent bed, bathroom was fantastic
street noise, yelling outside (unavoidable!)
Ystävällinen henkilökunta, oma ravintola, rauhallinen huone
I stay at the Gladstone frequently as hq is in Toronto for my company. I am on the road almost every week. I enjoy staying at the hotel as it is a home away from home, room is cozy and modern, each floor has a fun space, the restaurant has excellent food and coffee, and it is close to everything in Toronto. Hands down - the staff are what makes the experience. Friendly, helpful, willing to accomodate a request at any time. It really is more like an experience rather than a place to sleep.
Very nicely renovated classic hotel. Excellent beds. Super nice staff. A bit far from the central parts, but the local neighborhood is very nice with many good bars and restaurants. The hotel have a helpful leaflet with recommendations. The wine bar Piquette on Queen Street is fantastic! :)

Beautifully renovated old building with some quirky historic features. Very handy to public transportation. Staff was exceptional. Very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good.
It is central
We did not sleep the whole night as the windows are not double glazed and since we are on the Main Street. The hotel is historic and nice to visit but we are in year 2026 the minimum thing to do is to upgrade the windows to double glazed instead of hearing everything on the street as if is inside your room. You can imagine the noise of tram, cars, ambulance, garbage camions passing by all night as if they are inside the room.
The staff were all so kind
Location was perfect
There was no place to put suit cases, had to have them in the floor. No coffee or creamer
