Emplacement idéal !
Ascenseur typiques, belle salle de sport et staff très sympathique !
Climatisation très bruyante et peu d’isolation entre les chambres et le couloir..
great place very stylish super location
Lovely stylish hotel. Rooms quite small but very nicely done Great dinner at cassette staff friendly Fab location on hip queen west
We weren't sure what to expect after reading some of the reviews, but were delighted with our stay at Gladstone House. Our room was clean and bright, with a really functional sitting area with a love seat, coffee table and tv. The room had a mini-fridge and a coffee maker, lots of hanging space and nice touches like a steamer instead of an iron. The sink is in the bedroom, with a separate WC/shower, but it was worked fine. The windows are not very soundproof, so you do hear street noise, but we found the room fan and our white noise app effectively blocked the sound and we slept very soundly.
The hotel has nice common areas with areas for sitting and a pool table. The decor is fun and funky. We had a couple of meals in the restaurant and both very good -- I'm still thinking about their breakfast sandwich, which was one of the best I've ever had.
The area around the hotel is decent, with lots of restaurants and coffee shops. The Queen Street streetcar is right outside the door and it's about a 10 min walk to Liberty Village.
Beautiful old building snd location
Overall the room was stylish, but not comfortable. I didnt enjoy it - there was no enjoyment with coming back to relax or nap after long days sight seeing or bad sleep night before.. Here's a summary:
The noisy air ventilation system running through the corridors. I asked to be moved because i could hear it inside my bedroom. This was on top of the noisy air con system in the bedroom, which i had to turn off at night. The staff were very helpful with finding a different room.
The windows aren't sound proofed, the noise of constant sirens outside, as well as the tram (streetcar). I didn't have a full nights sleep the full duration of my stay.
The rooms are very sparsly furnished.
My room was a good size, beautiful comfy bed. Sadly no chair in the room, which it could accomodate. A lovely sink area was in the room, which was fine - however a small ledge to put toiletries on would be helpful. No where to sit down for 10 minutes - theres a small coffee machine. A long rectangular box about 2 feet , with opening underneath, with leather padding i assume is the seat. However this is under the tv, quite big and heavy, so the only seating option was the bed.
Location, comfy bed
Cost, small room
Personnel très à l’écoute, tramway et parking à proximité.
Chambre un peu petite, peu de place pour installer 2 valises.
הצוות נהדר המלון מבחוץ נראה ישן ומרופט בפנים הפתעה!!!
Spacious comfortable light-filled room with a gorgeous bath. Vegan unscented bathroom products which I loved. The staff were absolutely delightful and very helpful and the food was good. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that there was a gym, which I wasn’t expecting at all. A boutique hotel in an area with loads of restaurants & bars. Easy to get to the centre of Toronto by tram.
Nothing.
Lovely building facilities and room in a great location, what more do you want
Nothing
House keeping did a wonderful job.
Staff were so miserable and such poor customer service the first half of the week, thankfully it improved. But basic hello and good morning cant be that hard.
Good in the bar. Breakfast was awful, overcooked eggs, sausages that tasted like vinegar and burnt potatoes .
There is no safe in the room, we rearrangement the room so the coffee potnwasnt sitting under the open wardrobe.
Lots of character! The artwork added a lot of interest!
Nicely renovated. Efficient use of space.
Beautiful place.
