Unfortunately, the noise, lack of cleanliness, and unsafe surroundings made my stay very unpleasant.

I liked that the hotel is located close to the train station.

Cons:

Unfortunately, there were several things about my stay that I found very disappointing.

Almost every night, there was unbearable noise coming from the street. At times, people were shouting extremely loudly for a long time, bottles were being thrown, and I could hear the sound of breaking glass. It was sometimes simply impossible to sleep. I also felt that being outside near the hotel late in the evening or at night was unsafe.

I reported the situation to a hotel employee, but I was told that there was nothing they could do. I understand that the hotel cannot control what happens on the street, but when a hotel is located in an area where guests may feel unsafe, I believe this should be clearly communicated to potential visitors.

I was also disappointed by the overall cleanliness and condition of the hotel. The property felt rather neglected and lacked a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere.

On the positive side, I appreciated the convenient location, particularly its proximity to the train station.

Overall, however, the negative aspects outweighed the advantages, and I do not plan to stay at this hotel again.

Great hotel by the central train station
Pros:

5 min walk from the central train station, but quiet and comfortable. Everything was clean, there was AC, we walked around the area and it was very nice.

Cons:

It is about 30 min walk from the center of milan, but it didn’t bother us because we wanted to sleep close to the train. We saw that there is a lot of public transport.

I only had twenty four hours in Milan; and the Hotel Garda was an enjoyable part of that short stay.
Pros:

The staff are excellent! Friendly, helpful and well-informed.

The room was comfortable, if a little hot.

The breakfast was very good indeed.

The hotel is sited very well- just a few minutes from the railway station
