Beautiful hotel in a great location. Restaurant exceptional
Pros:

Superb hotel in very good location. Super friendly staff. Special mention to the restaurant staff who were exceptional. Breakfast offered so much choice and our one evening meal in the restaurant was fantastic.

Cons:

Don't want to appear picky as the hotel overall was fantastic. I had booked over a year ago for our 30th wedding anniversary so really hoped everything would be perfect. Unfortunately we had 2 issues regarding cleanliness. The first, less problematic, was after check-in finding one of the cups/saucers dirty and it taking 5hrs to be changed. The second, and more major issue, was our experience with the jacuzzi on our terrace. After turning the jets on we were covered in black mouldy slime. Clearly the jacuzzi hadn't been used recently and it certainly hadn't been cleaned/checked. Even the day after when we thought it would have been sorted after reporting the issue there was still (though a much lesser amount) black slime being discharged from the jets. Such a shame as my wife refused to use the jacuzzi after the first experience. When raising both issues with reception (2 separate gentlemen) we came away feeling that it was not being taken that seriously. Maybe just a culture/language issue but a simple apology and we will get that sorted straight away from them would have made us feel that the issues would be dealt with quickly. Just a shame that a couple of issues took the shine off our otherwise wonderful stay.

After 10 days throughout Italy, Hotel Piccola Vela was just what we needed, and the best final stop possible.
Pros:

The amenities are phenomenal. Views from the rooftop, the restaurant, garden, and library are amazing spaces. The staff is so accommodating and friendly and willing to go out of their way for guests.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn’t like. The hotel experience was outstanding.

Pros:

Everything. The staff where wonderful. On our arrival be where welcomed to warmly. We only had a short 2 night stay but I loved it so much im planning a another trip.

The room was clean and nice. Loved the balcony overlooking the grounds. Am easy walk to both the ferry and buses. Loads

Lovely location. A short 5 minute walk to the ferry port and buses are close. Stunning grounds and lovely and clean. The staff were helpful and polite. Breakfast was good yet relatively basic depending on what you wanted. Overall a lovely stay.

Nautimme olostamme, kiitos!
Pros:

Aamiainen oli aivan ihana, runsas ja monipuolinen. Sängyt olivat hyvät ja kaikkialla oli tosi siistiä. Puutarha oli kaunis ja hyvin hoidettu. Kattoterassi oli ihana! Sijainti oli hyvä lähellä rantaa ja paljon ravintoloita ja kahviloita oli kävelymatkan päässä.

Cons:

Kylpyhuoneen suihkukoppi vuoti, ja lattialla oli aina suihkun jälkeen paljon vettä.
